士師記-Judges 第 10 章

10:1	亞比米勒以後，有以薩迦人朵多的孫子，普瓦的兒子陀拉興起，拯救以色列人；他住在以法蓮山地的沙密。 And after Abimelech Tola the son of Puah, the son of Dodo, a man of Issachar, rose up to save Israel; and he dwelt in Shamir in the hill country of Ephraim.
10:2	陀拉作以色列的士師二十三年，就死了，葬在沙密。 And he judged Israel twenty-three years, and he died and was buried in Shamir.
10:3	在他以後有基列人睚珥興起，作以色列的士師二十二年。 And after him Jair the Gileadite rose up and judged Israel twenty-two years.
10:4	他有三十個兒子，騎著三十匹驢；他們有三十座城，叫作哈倭特睚珥，直到今日，都在基列地。 And he had thirty sons, who rode on thirty donkeys; and they had thirty cities (they are called Havvoth-jair to this day), which were in the land of Gilead.
10:5	睚珥死了，就葬在加們。 And Jair died and was buried in Kamon.
10:6	以色列人又行耶和華眼中看為惡的事，去事奉諸巴力和亞斯他錄，並亞蘭的神、西頓的神、摩押的神、亞捫人的神、非利士人的神，離棄耶和華，不事奉祂。 Then the children of Israel again did that which was evil in the sight of Jehovah. And they served the Baals and the Ashtaroth and the gods of Aram and the gods of Sidon and the gods of Moab and the gods of the children of Ammon and the gods of the Philistines, and they forsook Jehovah and did not serve Him.
10:7	耶和華的怒氣向以色列人發作，就把他們交付在非利士人和亞捫人的手中。 And the anger of Jehovah burned against Israel, and He sold them into the hand of the Philistines and into the hand of the children of Ammon.
10:8	從那年起，他們擾害欺壓約但河那邊，在基列亞摩利人之地的以色列眾人，共有十八年。 And they oppressed and crushed the children of Israel that year. For eighteen years they oppressed all the children of Israel who were across the Jordan in the land of the Amorites, which is in Gilead.
10:9	亞捫人又渡過約但河去攻打猶大和便雅憫，並以法蓮家。以色列人就極其困苦。 And the children of Ammon crossed over the Jordan to fight also against Judah and Benjamin and the house of Ephraim; and Israel was greatly distressed.
10:10	以色列人哀求耶和華說，我們得罪了你；因為離棄了我們的神，去事奉諸巴力。 Then the children of Israel cried out to Jehovah, saying, We have sinned against You, for we have forsaken our God and have served the Baals.
10:11	耶和華對以色列人說，我豈沒有救過你們脫離埃及人、亞摩利人、亞捫人和非利士人麼？ And Jehovah said to the children of Israel, Did I not save you from the Egyptians and from the Amorites and from the children of Ammon and from the Philistines?
10:12	西頓人、亞瑪力人、馬雲人也都欺壓過你們；你們哀求我，我也拯救你們脫離他們的手。 And the Sidonians and Amalek and Maon oppressed you; and you cried out to Me, and I saved you from their hand.
10:13	你們竟離棄我，事奉別神；所以我不再救你們了。 But you forsook Me and served other gods; therefore I will not save you again.
10:14	你們去哀求你們所選擇的眾神；你們遭難的時候，讓他們救你們罷。 Go and cry out to the gods that you have chosen. Let them save you in the time of your distress.
10:15	以色列人對耶和華說，我們犯罪了，照你眼中所看為好的待我們罷；隻求你今日拯救我們。 But the children of Israel said to Jehovah, We have sinned. You do with us according to all that is good in Your sight. Only deliver us this day, we pray.
10:16	以色列人就除掉他們中間的外邦神，事奉耶和華。耶和華因以色列人所受的苦難，心中著急。 And they removed the foreign gods from their midst and served Jehovah. And His soul could no longer bear Israel's misery.
10:17	當時亞捫人被召集，安營在基列；以色列人也聚集，安營在米斯巴。 Then the children of Ammon gathered together and encamped in Gilead, and the children of Israel assembled together and encamped in Mizpah.
10:18	基列的眾人，就是基列的眾首領，彼此說，誰能先去攻打亞捫人，誰必作基列一切居民的首領。 And the people, that is, the princes of Gilead, said each to his companion, Who is the man who will begin to fight against the children of Ammon? He shall be head over all the inhabitants of Gilead.
