| 124:1 | 以色列人要說，若不是耶和華在我們這邊， If it had not been Jehovah who was on our side, Oh, let Israel say, |
| 124:2 | 若不是耶和華在我們這邊，當人起來攻擊我們， If it had not been Jehovah who was on our side When men rose up against us; |
| 124:3 | 向我們發怒的時候，早就把我們活活的吞了； Then they would have swallowed us up alive When their anger burned against us; |
| 124:4 | 那時，大水必漫過我們，河水必淹沒我們； Then the waters would have washed us away; The stream would have passed over our soul; |
| 124:5 | 那時，狂傲的水必淹沒我們。 Then the proud waters Would have passed over our soul. |
| 124:6 | 耶和華是當受頌讚的，祂沒有把我們交給敵人，作他們爪牙下的獵物。 Blessed be Jehovah, who has not given us As prey to their teeth. |
| 124:7 | 我們好像雀鳥從捕鳥人的網羅裏逃脫；網羅破裂，我們逃脫了。 Our soul has escaped like a bird, Out of the snare of the fowlers; The snare is broken, And we have escaped. |
| 124:8 | 我們得幫助，是在於造天地之耶和華的名。 Our help is in the name of Jehovah, Who made heaven and earth. |
