| 129:1 | 以色列當說，從我幼年以來，敵人屢次苦害我， Many times have they afflicted me since my youth, Oh, let Israel say, |
| 129:2 | 從我幼年以來，敵人屢次苦害我，卻沒有勝過我。 Many times have they afflicted me since my youth, Yet they did not prevail against me. |
| 129:3 | 他們好像扶犁的，在我背上扶犁而耕；耕的犁溝甚長。 The plowers plowed on my back; They made their furrows long. |
| 129:4 | 耶和華是公義的；祂砍斷了惡人的繩索。 Jehovah is righteous; He has cut the cords of the wicked. |
| 129:5 | 願恨惡錫安的，都蒙羞退後。 May all who hate Zion Be put to shame and turned back. |
| 129:6 | 願他們像房頂上的草，未長成而枯萎； May they be like grass on the housetops, Which withers before it grows up, |
| 129:7 | 收割的不彀一把，捆禾的也不彀滿懷。 With which the reaper does not fill his hand, Or he who binds sheaves, his bosom. |
| 129:8 | 過路的也不說，願耶和華所賜的福，歸於你們；我們在耶和華的名裏，給你們祝福。 Nor may those who pass by say, The blessing of Jehovah be upon you! We bless you in the name of Jehovah. |
