| 21:1 | 我們離別了眾人，就開船直航，來到哥士，第二天到了羅底，從那裏到帕大喇； And when we parted from them and set sail, we took a straight course and came to Cos, and on the next day to Rhodes, and from there to Patara. |
| 21:2 | 遇見一隻船要開往腓尼基去，就上船起行。 And having found a ship crossing over to Phoenicia, we went on board and set sail. |
| 21:3 | 望見居比路，就從左邊駛過，往敘利亞去，我們就在推羅上岸，因為船要在那裏卸貨。 And when we sighted Cyprus and left it on the left, we sailed to Syria and came down to Tyre; for there the ship was to unload its cargo. |
| 21:4 | 我們找著了門徒，就在那裏住了七天。他們藉著那靈對保羅說，不要上耶路撒冷去。 And when we had sought out the disciples, we remained there seven days. These told Paul through the Spirit not to set foot in Jerusalem. |
| 21:5 | 過了這幾天，我們就動身前行，眾人同妻子兒女送我們到城外，我們都跪在岸上禱告，彼此辭別。 And when we completed the days, we went forth and went on our way, with all of them, including the women and children, escorting us until we were outside the city. And when we had knelt down on the beach and prayed, |
| 21:6 | 我們上了船，他們就回自己家裏去了。 We took leave of one another and went on board the ship; and they returned home. |
| 21:7 | 我們行完了航程，從推羅來到多利買，問候弟兄們，同他們住了一天。 And when we finished the voyage from Tyre, we arrived at Ptolemais; and we greeted the brothers and remained with them one day. |
| 21:8 | 第二天，我們離開那裏，來到該撒利亞，就進了傳福音者腓利家裏，和他同住，他是那七個執事裏的一個。 And on the next day we went forth and came to Caesarea; and entering into the house of Philip the evangelist, who was one of the seven, we remained with him. |
| 21:9 | 他有四個女兒，都是童女，是說預言的。 Now this man had four virgin daughters who prophesied. |
| 21:10 | 我們多住了幾天，有一個申言者名叫亞迦布，從猶太下來。 And while we remained there many days, a certain prophet named Agabus came down from Judea. |
| 21:11 | 到了我們這裏，就拿保羅的腰帶，捆上自己的手腳，說，聖靈這樣說，猶太人在耶路撒冷，要如此捆綁這腰帶的主人，把他交在外邦人手裏。 And he came to us and took Paul's belt; and having bound his own feet and hands, he said, Thus says the Holy Spirit, In this way will the Jews in Jerusalem bind the man whose belt this is and deliver him into the hands of the Gentiles. |
| 21:12 | 我們聽見這話，就和當地的人苦勸保羅不要上耶路撒冷去。 And when we heard these things, both we and those in that place entreated him not to go up to Jerusalem. |
| 21:13 | 保羅卻回答說，你們為什麼痛哭，使我心碎？我為主耶穌的名，不但被捆綁，就是死在耶路撒冷，我也準備好了。 Then Paul answered, What are you doing, weeping and breaking my heart? For I am ready not only to be bound, but also to die in Jerusalem for the name of the Lord Jesus. |
| 21:14 | 保羅既不聽勸，我們也就靜默，隻說，願主的旨意成就。 And since he would not be persuaded, we became silent, saying, The will of the Lord be done. |
| 21:15 | 過了幾天，我們便收拾行李，上耶路撒冷去。 And after these days we gathered our baggage and went up to Jerusalem. |
| 21:16 | 有該撒利亞的幾個門徒也和我們同去，帶著一個久為門徒的居比路人拿孫，我們好與他同住。 And some of the disciples from Caesarea also went with us, bringing us to a certain Mnason of Cyprus, an early disciple, with whom we were to lodge. |
| 21:17 | 到了耶路撒冷，弟兄們歡歡喜喜的接待我們。 And when we had come to Jerusalem, the brothers welcomed us gladly. |
| 21:18 | 第二天，保羅同我們去見雅各，長老們也都在那裏。 And on the following day Paul went in with us to James, and all the elders were present. |
| 21:19 | 保羅問候了他們，便將神藉著他的職事，在外邦人中所行的事，都一一述說出來。 And having greeted them, he related one by one the things which God did among the Gentiles through his ministry. |
| 21:20 | 他們聽見了，就榮耀神，並對保羅說，弟兄，你看猶太人中信主的有多少萬，並且都為律法熱心。 And when they heard it, they glorified God and said to him, You observe, brother, how many thousands there are among the Jews who have believed; and all are zealous for the law. |
| 21:21 | 他們聽說，你教訓一切在外邦的猶太人背棄摩西，對他們說，不要給孩子行割禮，也不要遵行規例。 And they have been informed concerning you that you are teaching all the Jews throughout the nations apostasy from Moses, telling them not to circumcise their children, nor to walk according to the customs. |
| 21:22 | 眾人總會聽見你已來了，這可怎麼辦？ What then is to be done? They will certainly hear that you have come. |
| 21:23 | 你就照著我們所告訴你的行吧。我們這裏有四個人，都有願在身； Therefore do this that we tell you: We have four men who have a vow on themselves; |
| 21:24 | 你帶這些人去，與他們一同行潔淨的禮，替他們繳費，叫他們得以剃頭，這樣，眾人就可知道，先前所聽說你的事都是虛的，反而你自己卻是按規律而行，遵行律法。 Take these and be purified with them, and pay their expenses that they may shave their heads. And all will know that there is nothing to the things that they have been informed of concerning you, but that you yourself also walk orderly, keeping the law. |
| 21:25 | 至於信主的外邦人，我們已經寫信斷定，叫他們自守，遠避祭偶像之物和血，並勒死的牲畜與淫亂。 But concerning the Gentiles who have believed, we have already written, having decided that they should keep themselves from idol sacrifices and blood and anything strangled and fornication. |
| 21:26 | 於是第二天，保羅帶著那四個人，與他們一同行了潔淨的禮，進了殿，報明潔淨的日期滿足，隻等祭司為他們各人獻上供物。 Then Paul took the men and on the following day, being purified with them, entered into the temple, giving notice of the completion of the days of the purification, until the offering was offered for each one of them. |
| 21:27 | 那七日將完，從亞西亞來的猶太人，看見保羅在殿裏，就聳動了所有的群眾，下手拿他， And when the seven days were about to be concluded, the Jews from Asia saw him in the temple and threw all the crowd into confusion; and they laid their hands on him, |
| 21:28 | 喊叫著說，諸位，以色列人哪，請幫忙，這人就是那在各處教訓眾人反對我們的百姓、律法和這地方的；他又帶著希利尼人進殿，汙穢了這聖地。 Crying out, Men of Israel, help! This is the man who teaches all men everywhere against the people and the law and this place; and further, he has even brought Greeks into the temple and has profaned this holy place. |
| 21:29 | 原來他們先前看見以弗所人特羅非摩同保羅在城裏，就以為保羅帶他進了殿。 For they had previously seen Trophimus the Ephesian in the city with him, whom they supposed Paul had brought into the temple. |
| 21:30 | 全城都震動了，百姓一齊跑來，拿住保羅，拉他出殿，殿門立刻都關了。 And the whole city was stirred, and the people ran together; and they laid hold of Paul and dragged him outside the temple; and immediately the doors were shut. |
| 21:31 | 他們正想要殺他，有人報信給營裏的千夫長說，全耶路撒冷都亂了。 And as they were seeking to kill him, a report came up to the commander of the cohort that all Jerusalem was in confusion. |
| 21:32 | 千夫長立刻帶著兵丁和幾個百夫長，跑下去到他們那裏；他們見了千夫長和兵丁，就止住不打保羅。 And he at once took soldiers and centurions and ran down to them. And when they saw the commander and the soldiers, they stopped beating Paul. |
| 21:33 | 於是千夫長上前拿住他，吩咐用兩條鐵鏈捆鎖，又查問他是什麼人，作的是什麼事。 Then the commander drew near and laid hold of him and ordered him to be bound with two chains. And he inquired who he might be and what he had done. |
| 21:34 | 群眾中間有喊叫這個的，有喊叫那個的，千夫長因為這樣亂嚷，無法得知實情，就吩咐人將保羅帶進營樓去。 And some among the crowd were shouting one thing, and some another. And since he could not find out the facts because of the uproar, he ordered him to be brought into the barracks. |
| 21:35 | 到了台階上，由於群眾擠得凶猛，兵丁隻得將保羅抬起來， And when Paul came to the stairs, it so happened that he was being carried by the soldiers because of the violence of the crowd; |
| 21:36 | 有許多的百姓跟隨著，喊叫說，除掉他！ For the multitude of the people were following and crying out, Away with him! |
| 21:37 | 將要帶進營樓的時候，保羅對千夫長說，我對你說句話，可以不可以？他說，你懂得希利尼話麼？ And when he was about to be brought into the barracks, Paul said to the commander, Am I allowed to say anything to you? And he said, You know Greek? |
| 21:38 | 莫非你是前些日子作亂，帶領四千凶徒，往曠野去的那埃及人麼？ You are not then the Egyptian who some days ago revolted and led out the four thousand men of the Assassins into the wilderness? |
| 21:39 | 保羅說，我本是猶太人，是基利家的大數人，並不是無名小城的居民，求你準我向百姓說話。 But Paul said, I am a Jewish man of Tarsus in Cilicia, a citizen of no insignificant city, and I beg you, permit me to speak to the people. |
| 21:40 | 千夫長準了，保羅就站在台階上，向百姓擺手，他們都靜默無聲，保羅便用希伯來語對他們講話，說： And when he had given him permission, Paul stood on the stairs and motioned with his hand to the people. And when there was a great silence, he addressed them in the Hebrew dialect, saying, |
