使徒行傳-Acts 第 22 章

22:1	諸位，弟兄父老，請聽我現在對你們所分訴的。 Men, brothers and fathers, hear my defense which I now make to you.
22:2	眾人聽見他用希伯來語對他們講話，就更加安靜了。 And when they heard that he addressed them in the Hebrew dialect, they became more quiet. And he said,
22:3	保羅說，我是猶太人，生在基利家的大數，在這城裏長大，在迦瑪列腳前，按著我們祖宗嚴緊的律法受教，我為神熱心，像你們眾人今日一樣。 I am a Jew, born in Tarsus of Cilicia but brought up in this city and trained at the feet of Gamaliel, according to the strictness of the law of our fathers, being zealous for God, even as you all are today.
22:4	我也曾逼迫過這道路上的人，直到死地，無論男女都捆綁起來，下在監裏， And I persecuted this Way unto death, binding and delivering to prisons both men and women,
22:5	這是大祭司和眾長老都可以給我作見證的。我又從他們領了給弟兄們的文書，往大馬色去，要把在那裏走這道路的人捆綁起來，帶到耶路撒冷受刑。 As also the high priest and all the assembly of the elders testify for me; from whom I also received letters to the brothers and went to Damascus to bring those also who were there bound to Jerusalem that they might be punished.
22:6	我將到大馬色，正走的時候，約在中午，忽然從天上發出大光，四麵照著我， And as I journeyed and drew near to Damascus about midday, suddenly a great light flashed out of heaven around me;
22:7	我就仆倒在地，聽見有聲音對我說，掃羅，掃羅，你為什麼逼迫我？ And I fell to the ground and heard a voice saying to me, Saul, Saul, why are you persecuting Me?
22:8	我回答說，主啊，你是誰？祂對我說，我就是你所逼迫的拿撒勒人耶穌。 And I answered, Who are You, Lord? And He said to me, I am Jesus the Nazarene, whom you persecute.
22:9	與我同行的人看見了那光，卻沒有聽明那對我說話者的聲音。 And those who were with me beheld the light, but did not hear the voice of the One who was speaking to me.
22:10	我說，主啊，我當作什麼？主對我說，起來，進大馬色去，在那裏要將所派你作的一切事都告訴你。 And I said, What shall I do, Lord? And the Lord said to me, Rise up and go into Damascus, and there it will be told to you concerning all the things which have been appointed to you to do.
22:11	我因那光的榮耀，不能看見，就由同行的人牽著我的手，進了大馬色。 And as I could not see because of the glory of that light, I was led by the hand by those who were with me and came into Damascus.
22:12	有一個人名叫亞拿尼亞，按著律法是虔誠人，為一切住在那裏的猶太人所稱讚。 And a certain Ananias, a devout man according to the law, well attested to by all the Jews dwelling there,
22:13	他到我這裏來，站在旁邊對我說，掃羅弟兄，你看見吧。我當時一看，就看見了他。 Came to me, and standing by, said to me, Brother Saul, receive your sight! And in that very hour I looked up at him.
22:14	他又說，我們祖宗的神預先選定了你，叫你認識祂的旨意，又得見那義者，且得聽祂口中所出的聲音； And he said, The God of our fathers has previously appointed you to know His will and to see the righteous One and to hear the voice from His mouth;
22:15	因為你要將所看見所聽見的，向萬人為祂作見證。 For you will be a witness to Him unto all men of the things which you have seen and heard.
22:16	現在你為什麼耽延？起來，呼求著祂的名受浸，洗去你的罪。 And now, why do you delay? Rise up and be baptized and wash away your sins, calling on His name.
22:17	後來我回到耶路撒冷，在殿裏禱告的時候，魂遊象外， And when I returned to Jerusalem and was praying in the temple, I went into a trance;
22:18	看見主向我說，你要趕緊，快快離開耶路撒冷，因你為我所作的見證，人必不領受。 And I saw Him saying to me, Hurry, and go quickly out of Jerusalem, because they will not accept your testimony concerning Me.
22:19	我就說，主啊，他們知道我從前把信靠你的人收在監裏，又在各會堂裏鞭打他們， And I said, Lord, they know that I was imprisoning and beating from synagogue to synagogue those who believe on You;
22:20	並且你的見證人司提反遇害流血的時候，我還親自站在旁邊，予以讚同，並且看守害死他之人的衣服。 And when the blood of Your witness Stephen was being shed, I myself also was standing by and approving and keeping the garments of those who did away with him.
22:21	主向我說，你去吧，因為我要差遣你遠遠的往外邦人那裏去。 And He said to me, Go, for I will send you forth far away to the Gentiles.
22:22	眾人聽他說到這句話，就高聲說，這樣的人從地上除掉吧，他是不該活著的。 And they listened to him up to this word, and then they lifted up their voice, saying, Away from the earth with such a man, for it is not fitting for him to live!
22:23	眾人喧嚷，摔掉衣服，把塵土向空中揚起來， And as they were crying out and casting off their garments and throwing dust in the air,
22:24	千夫長就吩咐人將保羅帶進營樓，叫人用鞭子拷問他，要確知他們向他這樣喊叫，是為什麼緣故。 The commander ordered him to be brought into the barracks, saying that he should be examined by scourging in order that he might ascertain for what cause they were shouting against him so.
22:25	剛用皮帶捆上，保羅對旁邊站著的百夫長說，人是羅馬人，又沒有定罪，你們就鞭打，這是合法的麼？ But as they stretched him out with the thongs, Paul said to the centurion standing by, Is it lawful for you to scourge a man who is a Roman and uncondemned?
22:26	百夫長聽了，就到千夫長跟前，報告說，你要怎麼作？這人是個羅馬人。 And when the centurion heard this, he went to the commander and reported, saying, What are you about to do? For this man is a Roman.
22:27	千夫長就進前來對保羅說，你告訴我，你是羅馬人麼？保羅說，是的。 And the commander came and said to him, Tell me, are you a Roman? And he said, Yes.
22:28	千夫長回答說，我用許多銀子，才取得這公民權。保羅說，我生來就是。 And the commander answered, With a large sum of money I acquired this citizenship. And Paul said, But I was even born a Roman.
22:29	於是那些要拷問保羅的人，立刻離開他去了。千夫長既確知他是羅馬人，又因為捆綁了他，也害怕了。 Immediately therefore those who were about to examine him withdrew from him; and the commander also was afraid, realizing that he was a Roman and that he had bound him.
22:30	第二天，千夫長想要知道猶太人控告保羅的實情，便解開他，吩咐祭司長和全議會的人都聚集，將保羅帶下來，叫他站在他們麵前。 And on the next day he, intending to find out for certain why he was accused by the Jews, released him and ordered the chief priests and all the Sanhedrin to come together; and having brought Paul down, he had him stand before them.
