創世記-Genesis 第 27 章

27:1	以撒年老，眼睛昏花，不能看見，就叫了他大兒子以掃來，對他說，我兒。以掃說，我在這裏。 Now when Isaac was old, and his eyes had become so dim that he could not see, he called Esau his older son and said to him, My son. And he said to him, Here I am.
27:2	他說，我如今老了，不知道那一天死。 And he said, Behold now, I am old, and I do not know the day of my death.
27:3	現在拿你的器械，就是箭囊和弓，往田野去為我打些野味來， Now then, please take your weapons, your quiver and your bow, and go out to the field, and hunt game for me,
27:4	照我所愛的作成美味，拿來給我吃，使我在未死之前給你祝福。 And prepare for me a tasty meal, such as I love, and bring it to me to eat, so that I may bless you before I die.
27:5	以撒對他兒子以掃說話的時候，利百加一直在聽著。所以當以掃往田野去打獵，要得野味帶回來， Now Rebekah had been listening when Isaac spoke to Esau his son. So when Esau went to the field to hunt for game to bring it home,
27:6	利百加就對她兒子雅各說，我聽見你父親對你哥哥以掃說， Rebekah spoke to Jacob her son, saying, I just heard your father speaking to Esau your brother, saying,
27:7	你去把野味帶來，作成美味給我吃，我好在未死之前，在耶和華麵前給你祝福。 Bring me game, and prepare for me a tasty meal so that I may eat it and bless you before Jehovah before my death.
27:8	現在，我兒，你要照著我所吩咐你的，聽從我的話。 Now therefore, my son, obey my voice, according to that which I command you.
27:9	你到羊群去，給我拿兩隻肥山羊羔來，我便照你父親所愛的，給他作成美味。 Go now to the flock, and take two choice kids for me from there, and I will prepare them as a tasty meal for your father, such as he loves.
27:10	你拿到你父親那裏給他吃，使他可以在未死之前給你祝福。 Then you shall bring it to your father to eat, so that he may bless you before his death.
27:11	雅各對他母親利百加說，你看，我哥哥以掃渾身是有毛的，我身上是光滑的； And Jacob said to Rebekah his mother, Behold, Esau my brother is a hairy man, and I am a smooth man.
27:12	倘若我父親摸著我，必以我為1欺哄人的，我就招來咒詛，不得祝福。 Perhaps my father will feel me, and I will be as a deceiver in his sight, and I will bring upon myself a curse and not a blessing.
27:13	他母親對他說，我兒，你招的咒詛歸到我身上；你隻管聽我的話，去把羊羔給我拿來。 And his mother said to him, Your curse be on me, my son; only obey my voice, and go, get them for me.
27:14	他便去拿來，交給他母親；他母親就照他父親所愛的，作成美味， And he went and got them and brought them to his mother; and his mother prepared a tasty meal, such as his father loved.
27:15	利百加又把家裏她所存大兒子以掃上好的衣服，給她小兒子雅各穿上； And Rebekah took the best clothes of Esau her older son, which were with her in the house, and put them on Jacob her younger son.
27:16	又用山羊羔皮，包在雅各的手上、和頸項的光滑處； And she put the skins of the kids on his hands and on the smooth part of his neck.
27:17	就把所作的美味和餅，交在她兒子雅各的手裏。 And she put the tasty meal and the bread that she had prepared into the hand of Jacob her son.
27:18	雅各到他父親那裏說，我父親。他說，我在這裏。我兒，你是誰？ And he came to his father and said, My father. And he said, Here I am. Who are you, my son?
27:19	雅各對他父親說，我是你的長子以掃；我已照你所吩咐我的行了。請起來坐著，吃我的野味，好給我祝福。 And Jacob said to his father, I am Esau your firstborn; I have done as you told me. Now rise up; sit up and eat some of my game, so that you may bless me.
27:20	以撒對他兒子說，我兒，你怎麼找得這麼快？他說，因為耶和華你的神使我遇見好機會得著的。 And Isaac said to his son, How is it that you have found it so quickly, my son? And he said, Because Jehovah your God put it in my way.
27:21	以撒對雅各說，我兒，你近前來，讓我摸摸你，好知道你真是我的兒子以掃不是。 And Isaac said to Jacob, Please come near that I may feel you, my son, to know whether you are really my son Esau or not.
27:22	雅各就挨近他父親以撒。以撒摸著他，說，聲音是雅各的聲音，手卻是以掃的手。 And Jacob came near to Isaac his father. And he felt him and said, The voice is Jacob's voice, but the hands are Esau's hands.
27:23	以撒就辨不出他來，因為他手上有毛，像他哥哥以掃的手一樣；以撒就給他祝福； And he did not recognize him, because his hands were hairy like his brother Esau's hands; so he blessed him.
27:24	又說，你真是我兒子以掃麼？他說，我是。 And he said, Are you really my son Esau? And he said, I am.
27:25	以撒說，你遞給我，我好吃我兒子的野味，給你祝福。雅各就遞給他，他便吃了；又拿酒給他，他也喝了。 And he said, Bring it near to me, and I will eat of my son's game, that I may bless you. So he brought it near to him, and he ate; and he brought him wine, and he drank.
27:26	他父親以撒對他說，我兒，你上前來與我親嘴。 Then his father Isaac said to him, Please come near and kiss me, my son.
27:27	他就上前與父親親嘴，他父親一聞他衣服上的香氣，就給他祝福，說，我兒的香氣如同耶和華賜福之田地的香氣一樣。 So he came near and kissed him; and when Isaac smelled the smell of his garments, he blessed him and said, See, the smell of my son-Like the smell of a field Which Jehovah has blessed.
27:28	願神賜你天上的甘露，地上的肥土，並豐盈的五穀和新酒。 And may God give you Of the dew of heaven and of the fatness of the earth, And an abundance of grain and new wine.
27:29	願多民服事你，多國跪拜你。願你作你弟兄的主，你母親的兒子向你跪拜。凡咒詛你的，願他受咒詛；為你祝福的，願他蒙福。 Let peoples serve you, And nations bow down to you. Be lord over your brothers, And let your mother's sons bow down to you. Cursed be those who curse you, And blessed be those who bless you.
27:30	以撒為雅各祝福完畢，雅各從他父親以撒麵前出來，他哥哥以掃正打獵回來。 And as soon as Isaac had finished blessing Jacob, when Jacob had just gone out from the presence of Isaac his father, Esau his brother came in from his hunting.
27:31	他也作了美味，拿來給他父親，說，請父親起來，吃你兒子的野味，好給我祝福。 And he also had prepared a tasty meal and brought it to his father. And he said to his father, Let my father rise up, and eat some of his son's game, that you may bless me.
27:32	他父親以撒對他說，你是誰？他說，我是你的長子以掃。 And Isaac his father said to him, Who are you? And he said, I am your son, your firstborn, Esau.
27:33	以撒就大大的戰兢，說，那麼是誰得了野味拿來給我呢？你未來之前我已經都吃了，也給他祝福了；他將來也必蒙福。 And Isaac trembled very greatly and said, Who was it then who hunted game and brought it to me, so that I ate of it all before you came and blessed him? And blessed will he be.
27:34	以掃聽了他父親的話，就放聲苦求，說，我父阿，求你也給我祝福！ When Esau heard the words of his father, he cried with a very great and bitter cry and said to his father, Bless me, even me also, O my father.
27:35	以撒說，你弟弟已經來用詭計將你的福分奪去了。 And he said, Your brother came deceitfully and has taken away your blessing.
27:36	以掃說，他名雅各，豈不是正對麼？因為他兩次抓奪了我：他從前奪了我長子的名分，你看，他現在又奪了我的福分。以掃又說，你沒有為我留下可祝的福麼？ And Esau said, Is he not rightly named Jacob, for he has supplanted me these two times? He took away my birthright, and behold now he has taken away my blessing. Then he said, Have you not reserved a blessing for me?
27:37	以撒回答以掃說，我已立他為你的主，使他的弟兄都給他作仆人，並賜他五穀新酒可以養生。我兒，現在我還能為你作什麼？ And Isaac answered and said to Esau, I have already made him your lord, and all his brothers I have given to him for servants; and with grain and new wine I have sustained him. And what then shall I do for you, my son?
27:38	以掃對他父親說，父阿，你隻有一樣可祝的福麼？父阿，求你也為我祝福。以掃就放聲而哭。 And Esau said to his father, Do you have only one blessing, my father? Bless me, even me also, O my father. And Esau lifted up his voice and wept.
27:39	他父親以撒回答說，看哪，地上的肥土必不為你所住；天上的甘露必不為你所得。 And Isaac his father answered and said to him, Behold, away from the fatness of the earth shall your dwelling be, And away from the dew of heaven from above.
27:40	你必倚靠刀劍度日，又必服事你的弟弟；到你不受駕馭的時候，必從你頸項上掙開他的軛。 And by your sword shall you live, And you shall serve your brother. And when you become restless, You shall break his yoke from off your neck.
27:41	以掃因他父親給雅各祝的福，就怨恨雅各，心裏說，為我父親居喪的日子近了，到那時候，我要殺我的弟弟雅各。 And Esau hated Jacob because of the blessing with which his father had blessed him; and Esau said in his heart, The days of mourning for my father are near; then I will slay my brother Jacob.
27:42	有人把利百加大兒子以掃的話告訴利百加，她就打發人去，叫了她小兒子雅各來，對他說，你哥哥以掃想要殺你，消他的恨。 And the words of Esau her older son were told to Rebekah, so she sent and called Jacob her younger son and said to him, Now your brother Esau is consoling himself concerning you by planning to kill you.
27:43	現在，我兒，你要聽我的話；起來，逃往哈蘭我哥哥拉班那裏去， Therefore, my son, obey my voice now, and rise up; flee to Laban my brother at Haran,
27:44	同他住些日子，直等你哥哥的忿怒轉消了。 And stay with him a few days, until your brother's fury turns away,
27:45	等你哥哥向你消了怒氣，忘了你向他所作的事，我便打發人去把你從那裏帶回來。我為什麼要一日喪你們二人呢？ Until your brother's anger turns away from you, and he forgets what you have done to him; then I will send word and get you back from there. Why should I be bereaved of both of you in one day?
27:46	利百加對以撒說，我因這些赫人的女子，厭煩到不想活了；倘若雅各也從這地的女子中，娶像這些赫人的女子為妻，我活著還有什麼意思？ And Rebekah said to Isaac, I am weary of my life because of the daughters of Heth. If Jacob takes a wife of the daughters of Heth like these, from the daughters of the land, what good will my life be to me?
