| 8:1 | 那時，所羅門將以色列的長老們和各支派的首領，就是以色列人宗族的首領，招聚到耶路撒冷所羅門王那裏，要把耶和華的約櫃從大衛城，就是錫安，運上來。 Then Solomon assembled the elders of Israel and all the heads of the tribes, the leaders of the fathers' houses of the children of Israel, before King Solomon in Jerusalem in order to bring up the Ark of the Covenant of Jehovah from the city of David, which is Zion. |
| 8:2 | 以他念月，就是七月，在節期的時候，以色列人都聚集到所羅門王那裏。 And all the men of Israel assembled themselves before King Solomon at the feast in the month of Ethnaim, which is the seventh month. |
| 8:3 | 以色列的眾長老來到，祭司便抬起約櫃；他們將耶和華的約櫃、 And when all the elders of Israel came, the priests took up the Ark; |
| 8:4 | 會幕、和會幕裏的一切聖器具，都運上來，是祭司和利未人將這一切運上來的。 And they brought up the Ark of Jehovah and the Tent of Meeting and all the holy vessels that were in the tent; and the priests and Levites brought them up. |
| 8:5 | 所羅門王和聚集到他那裏的以色列全會眾，一同在約櫃前獻牛羊為祭，多得無法計算，無法數點。 And King Solomon and all the assembly of Israel, who had assembled before him and were with him before the Ark, were sacrificing sheep and oxen which could not be counted or numbered for multitude. |
| 8:6 | 祭司將耶和華的約櫃抬進所豫備的地方，就是聖殿的內殿，也就是至聖所，放在兩個基路伯的翅膀底下。 And the priests brought the Ark of the Covenant of Jehovah to its place, into the innermost sanctuary of the house, into the Holy of Holies under the wings of the cherubim. |
| 8:7 | 因為基路伯張著翅膀在約櫃所在之處以上，遮掩約櫃和抬櫃的杠。 For the cherubim had their wings spread out over the place of the Ark, and the cherubim covered the Ark and its poles overhead. |
| 8:8 | 這兩根杠甚長，杠頭在內殿前的聖所可以看見，在殿外卻不能看見，直到今日還在那裏。 And the poles extended out so that the ends of the poles could be seen from the Holy Place before the innermost sanctuary, but they were not seen outside; and they are there to this day. |
| 8:9 | 約櫃裏隻有兩塊石版，就是以色列人出埃及地後，耶和華與他們立約的時候，摩西在何烈山所放的；除此以外，並無別物。 There was nothing in the Ark except the two stone tablets, which Moses placed there at Horeb when Jehovah made a covenant with the children of Israel when they came out of the land of Egypt. |
| 8:10 | 祭司從聖所出來的時候，有雲充滿耶和華的殿； And when the priests came out of the Holy Place, the cloud filled the house of Jehovah; |
| 8:11 | 因著那雲的緣故，祭司不能站立供職，因為耶和華的榮光充滿了耶和華的殿。 And the priests were not able to stand and minister because of the cloud, for the glory of Jehovah filled the house of Jehovah. |
| 8:12 | 那時所羅門說，耶和華曾說，祂要住在幽暗之中。 Then Solomon said, Jehovah has said that He would dwell in deep darkness. |
| 8:13 | 我已經為你建造巍峨的殿宇，作你永遠的居所。 I have surely built You a lofty house, a place for You to dwell in forever. |
| 8:14 | 王轉臉為以色列全會眾祝福，以色列全會眾都站著。 And the king turned about and blessed all the congregation of Israel while all the congregation of Israel stood. |
| 8:15 | 所羅門說，耶和華以色列的神是當受頌讚的，祂親口向我父親大衛說話，也親手成就了；祂說， And he said, Blessed be Jehovah the God of Israel, who spoke with His mouth to David my father and fulfilled it with His hand, saying, |
| 8:16 | 自從我領我民以色列出埃及的日子以來，我未曾在以色列眾支派中選擇一城建造殿宇，使我的名可以立在那裏；但我揀選了大衛治理我民以色列。 Since the day when I brought My people Israel out from Egypt, I have not chosen a city out of all the tribes of Israel to build a house for My name that it might be there; but I chose David to be over My people Israel. |
| 8:17 | 我父親大衛心中立意，要為耶和華以色列神的名建殿； And it was on David my father's heart to build a house for the name of Jehovah the God of Israel; |
| 8:18 | 耶和華卻對我父親大衛說，你心中立意為我的名建殿，這心意甚好； But Jehovah said to David my father, Because it was on your heart to build a house for My name, you have done well that it was on your heart; |
| 8:19 | 隻是你不可建殿，惟你腰中所出的兒子必為我的名建殿。 However you will not build the house, but your son, who will come forth from your loins, he will build the house for My name. |
| 8:20 | 現在耶和華履行了祂所說的話，因我已經起來接續我父親大衛坐以色列的國位，正如耶和華所應許的，我又為耶和華以色列神的名建造了這殿。 And Jehovah has established His word which He spoke; for I have risen up in the place of David my father, and I sit upon the throne of Israel, as Jehovah promised, and I have built the house for the name of Jehovah the God of Israel. |
| 8:21 | 我也在那裏為約櫃豫備了一個地方，櫃內有耶和華的約，就是祂領我們列祖出埃及地的時候，與他們所立的。 And there I have set a place for the Ark, in which is the covenant of Jehovah, which He made with our fathers when He brought them out from the land of Egypt. |
| 8:22 | 所羅門當著以色列全會眾，站在耶和華的壇前，向天伸開雙手禱告， Then Solomon stood before the altar of Jehovah in front of all the congregation of Israel and spread his hands toward heaven. |
| 8:23 | 說，耶和華以色列的神阿，上天下地沒有神可比你的；你向那全心行在你麵前的仆人守約並施慈愛； And he said, O Jehovah, God of Israel, there is no god like You, in heaven above or on the earth below, who keeps covenant and lovingkindness with Your servants who walk before You with all their heart; |
| 8:24 | 你守住了你向你仆人我父親大衛所應許的話；你親口說過，今日果然親手成就了。 You who have kept with Your servant David my father that which You have promised him; indeed You have spoken with Your mouth and have fulfilled with Your hand this day. |
| 8:25 | 耶和華以色列的神阿，現在求你向你仆人我父親大衛守住你的應許；你曾對他說，你的子孫若謹守他們的道路，行在我麵前，像你行在我麵前一樣，就不斷有人在我麵前坐以色列的國位。 And now, O Jehovah, God of Israel, keep with Your servant David my father that which You promised him, saying, There shall not fail you a man in My sight to sit upon the throne of Israel, if only your children keep their way by walking before Me as you have walked before Me. |
| 8:26 | 以色列的神阿，現在求你使你向你仆人我父親大衛所說的話得著證實。 Now therefore, O God of Israel, may Your word that You spoke to Your servant David my father be confirmed. |
| 8:27 | 神果真住在地上麼？看哪，天和天上的天尚且容不下你，何況我所建的這殿呢？ But will God indeed dwell on the earth? Behold, the heavens and the heaven of heavens are not able to contain You, how much less this house which I have built. |
| 8:28 | 耶和華我的神阿，求你垂顧仆人的禱告和懇求，俯聽仆人今日在你麵前所發的呼喊和禱告。 Yet have regard to the prayer of Your servant and to his supplication, O Jehovah my God, and listen to the cry and to the prayer which Your servant is praying before You today; |
| 8:29 | 願你的眼目晝夜看顧這殿，看顧你所說，我的名要立在那裏的地方；求你垂聽仆人向此處所發的禱告。 That Your eyes may be open toward this house night and day, toward the place of which You have said, My name will be there, to listen to the prayer which Your servant will pray toward this place. |
| 8:30 | 你仆人和你民以色列向此處禱告的時候，求你垂聽他們的懇求；求你在天上你的居所垂聽，垂聽而赦免。 And listen to the supplication of Your servant and of Your people Israel when they pray toward this place. Hear then in Your dwelling place in the heavens; and when You hear, forgive. |
| 8:31 | 人若得罪鄰舍，有人叫他起誓，他來到這殿，在你的壇前起誓， If a man sins against his neighbor and is made to take an oath, and he comes and takes an oath before Your altar in this house; |
| 8:32 | 求你在天上垂聽並行事，審斷你的仆人，定惡人有罪，照他的行徑回報在他頭上；稱義人為義，照他的義賞賜他。 Then hear in the heavens and act and judge Your servants, condemning the wicked by bringing his way on his head and justifying the righteous by giving to him according to his righteousness. |
| 8:33 | 你的民以色列若因犯罪得罪你，敗在仇敵麵前，又歸向你，承認你的名，在這殿裏向你禱告懇求， When Your people Israel are defeated before an enemy because they have sinned against You, and they turn to You and confess Your name and pray and make supplication to You in this house; |
| 8:34 | 求你在天上垂聽，赦免你民以色列的罪，使他們歸回你賜給他們列祖之地。 Then hear in the heavens, and forgive the sin of Your people Israel, and bring them back to the land which You gave to their fathers. |
| 8:35 | 你的民因犯罪得罪你，你苦待他們，使天閉塞不下雨；他們若向此處禱告，承認你的名，回轉離開他們的罪， When the heavens are shut up and there is no rain because they have sinned against You, and they pray toward this place and confess Your name and turn from their sin when You afflict them; |
| 8:36 | 求你在天上垂聽，赦免你眾仆人和以色列民的罪，將當行的善道指教他們，且降雨在你的地上，就是你賜給你民為業之地。 Then hear in the heavens and forgive the sin of Your servants and of Your people Israel; indeed teach them the good way in which they should walk, and bring rain upon Your land, which You have given to Your people for an inheritance. |
| 8:37 | 這地若有饑荒、瘟疫、旱風、黴爛、群蝗、毀蝗，或有仇敵把他們圍困在他們城邑所在之地，無論遭遇什麼災禍疾病， If there is famine in the land, if there is pestilence, if there is blight or mildew, swarming locust or consuming locust, if their enemy besieges them in the land of their cities, whatever plague, whatever sickness there is; |
| 8:38 | 你的民以色列眾人中，若有任何一人，自覺心中有罪疚，向這殿伸開雙手，無論禱告什麼，懇求什麼， Whatever prayer, whatever supplication, which will be made by any man of all Your people Israel, each knowing the plague of his own heart, when he spreads out his hands toward this house; |
| 8:39 | 求你在天上你的居所垂聽、赦免並行事；你是知道人心的，惟有你知道所有世人的心，求你照各人一切的行徑施行賞罰； Then hear in the heavens Your dwelling place, and forgive and act and render to each man according to all his ways, whose heart You know; for You, You alone know the hearts of all the children of men; |
| 8:40 | 使他們在你賜給我們列祖的地上，一生的日子都敬畏你。 That they may fear You all the days that they live in the land which You have given to our fathers. |
| 8:41 | 至於不屬你民以色列的外邦人，為你名從遠方而來； And also concerning the foreigner, who is not of Your people Israel but comes from a distant country for the sake of Your name |
| 8:42 | 他們聽到你的大名和大能的手，並伸出來的膀臂，就來向著這殿禱告， (For they will hear about Your great name and Your strong hand and Your outstretched arm), when he comes and prays toward this house; |
| 8:43 | 求你在天上你的居所垂聽，照著外邦人向你所呼求的一切而行，使地上萬民都認識你的名，敬畏你，像你的民以色列一樣；又使他們知道我建造的這殿，是稱為你名下的。 Then hear in the heavens Your dwelling place, and act according to all that the foreigner calls upon You for, that all the peoples of the earth may know Your name and that they may fear You, as do Your people Israel, and that they may know that this house which I have built is called by Your name. |
| 8:44 | 你的民若在你所差遣他們的路上，出去與仇敵爭戰，向著你所選擇的城與我為你名所建造的殿，向你耶和華禱告， If Your people go out to battle against their enemy by the way which You have sent them, and they pray to Jehovah toward the city which You have chosen and the house which I have built for Your name; |
| 8:45 | 求你在天上垂聽他們的禱告和懇求，為他們施行公理。 Then hear their prayer and their supplication in the heavens and maintain their cause. |
| 8:46 | 他們若犯罪得罪你，(世上沒有不犯罪的人，)你向他們發怒，將他們交給仇敵，以致擄掠他們的人把他們擄到仇敵之地，或遠或近； If they have sinned against You (for there is no man who does not sin) and You are angry with them and deliver them up to the enemy, so that they are carried away captive unto the land of the enemy, far away or nearby; |
| 8:47 | 他們若在擄到之地心裏回想起罪來，在擄掠他們之人的地回心轉意，懇求你說，我們有了罪，作了孽，行了惡； But if they take it to heart in the land where they were carried captive, and they repent and make supplication to You in the land of those who carried them away captive, saying, We have sinned and committed iniquity and acted wickedly; |
| 8:48 | 他們若在擄掠他們之仇敵的地，全心全魂歸向你，又向著自己的地，就是你賜給他們列祖之地，和你所選擇的城，並我為你名所建造的殿，向你禱告， And if they return to You with all their heart and with all their soul in the land of their enemies, who have carried them captive, and they pray to You toward their land that You have given to their fathers, the city that You have chosen, and the house that I have built for Your name; |
| 8:49 | 求你在天上你的居所垂聽他們的禱告和懇求，為他們施行公理， Then hear their prayer and their supplication in the heavens Your dwelling place and maintain their cause, |
| 8:50 | 饒恕犯罪得罪你的民，赦免他們違背你的一切過犯，使他們在擄掠他們的人麵前蒙憐恤，叫擄掠他們的人憐恤他們； And forgive Your people who have sinned against You and all their transgressions which they have transgressed against You, and grant them compassion in the sight of those who lead them captive, that they might have compassion on them |
| 8:51 | (因為他們是你的子民，你的產業，是你從埃及，從鐵爐中領出來的；) (For they are Your people and Your inheritance, whom You brought out from Egypt, from the midst of an iron furnace); |
| 8:52 | 願你的眼顧及你仆人和你民以色列的懇求，每當他們向你呼求，願你垂聽。 That Your eyes may be open to the supplication of Your servant and to the supplication of Your people Israel to listen to them whenever they call upon You. |
| 8:53 | 主耶和華阿，因你已將他們從地上的萬民中分別出來，作你的產業，正如你領我們列祖出埃及的時候，藉你仆人摩西所說的。 For You have separated them from all the peoples of the earth to be Your inheritance, as You spoke through Moses Your servant, when You brought our fathers out from Egypt, O Lord Jehovah. |
| 8:54 | 所羅門在耶和華的壇前屈膝跪著，向天伸開雙手，向耶和華禱告懇求已畢，就起來，站著， And when Solomon had finished praying all this prayer and supplication to Jehovah, he rose up from before the altar of Jehovah, from kneeling on his knees with his hands spread toward the heavens. |
| 8:55 | 大聲為以色列全會眾祝福，說， And he stood and blessed the whole congregation of Israel with a loud voice, saying, |
| 8:56 | 耶和華是當受頌讚的；祂照著一切所應許的，賜安息給祂民以色列人。凡祂藉著祂仆人摩西所說美好應許的話，一一一句都沒有落空。 Blessed be Jehovah, who has given rest to His people Israel, according to all that He promised. Not one word of all His good promises which He spoke through Moses His servant has failed. |
| 8:57 | 願耶和華我們的神與我們同在，像與我們列祖同在一樣；願祂不撇下我們，不丟棄我們， May Jehovah our God be with us, as He was with our fathers; let Him not forsake us nor abandon us, |
| 8:58 | 使我們的心歸向祂，遵行祂一切的道路，謹守祂吩咐我們列祖的誡命、律例和典章。 That He may incline our hearts to Himself, to walk in all His ways and to keep His commandments and His statutes and His ordinances, which He commanded our fathers. |
| 8:59 | 願我向耶和華懇求的這些話，晝夜離耶和華我們的神不遠，使祂每日為祂仆人和祂民以色列人施行公理， And let these words of mine, with which I made supplication to Jehovah, be near to Jehovah our God day and night to maintain the cause of His servant and the cause of His people Israel as each day requires; |
| 8:60 | 使地上的萬民都知道，惟獨耶和華是神，並無別神。 That all the peoples of the earth may know that Jehovah is God; there is none else. |
| 8:61 | 所以你們的心當完全歸向耶和華我們的神，你們當遵行祂的律例，謹守祂的誡命，如今日一樣。 Let your heart therefore be perfect with Jehovah our God, to walk in His statutes and to keep His commandments as on this day. |
| 8:62 | 王和以色列眾人一同在耶和華麵前獻祭。 And the king and all Israel with him offered sacrifices before Jehovah. |
| 8:63 | 所羅門向耶和華獻平安祭，用牛二萬二千，羊十二萬。這樣，王和以色列眾人為耶和華的殿行了奉獻之禮。 And Solomon offered a sacrifice of peace offerings, which he offered to Jehovah: twenty-two thousand oxen and one hundred and twenty thousand sheep. Thus the king and all the children of Israel dedicated the house of Jehovah. |
| 8:64 | 當日，王因耶和華麵前的銅壇太小，容不下燔祭、素祭、和平安祭牲的脂油，便將耶和華殿前院子當中分別為聖，在那裏獻燔祭、素祭、和平安祭牲的脂油。 On that day the king sanctified the middle of the court that was before the house of Jehovah, for there he offered the burnt offering and the meal offering and the fat of peace offerings because the bronze altar which was before Jehovah was too small to receive the burnt offering and the meal offering and the fat of peace offerings. |
| 8:65 | 那時所羅門和以色列眾人，就是從哈馬口直到埃及小河的人，聚集成為大會，在耶和華我們的神麵前守節七日又七日，共十四日。 And Solomon held a feast at that time and all Israel with him, a great congregation, from the entrance of Hamath to the brook of Egypt, before Jehovah our God, seven days and seven more days, fourteen days in all. |
| 8:66 | 第八日，王遣散眾民；他們都為王祝福，並且因耶和華向祂仆人大衛和祂民以色列人所行一切美善的事，就都心中歡喜快樂，各回各的帳棚去了。 On the eighth day he sent the people away, and they blessed the king and went to their tents joyful and happy in heart for all the goodness which Jehovah had done to David His servant and to Israel His people. |
