代上17

曆代記上-1 Chronicles 第 17 章

17:1	大衛住在自己宮中，對申言者拿單說，看哪，我住在香柏木的宮中，耶和華的約櫃反倒住在幔子之下。 And as David dwelt in his house, David said to Nathan the prophet, See now, I dwell in a house of cedar, but the Ark of the Covenant of Jehovah dwells under curtains.
17:2	拿單對大衛說，凡你心中所想的，隻管去作，因為神與你同在。 And Nathan said to David, All that is in your heart do, for God is with you.
17:3	當夜，神的話臨到拿單，說， And in that night the word of God came to Nathan, saying,
17:4	你去對我仆人大衛說，耶和華如此說，建造殿宇給我居住的，不是你。 Go and say to David My servant, Thus says Jehovah, It will not be you who builds Me a house to dwell in.
17:5	自從我領以色列人從埃及上來的日子，直到今日，我未曾住過殿宇，乃從這帳棚到那帳棚，從這帳幕到那帳幕。 For I have not dwelt in a house, since the day I brought up Israel to this day; but I have been from tent to tent and from tabernacle to tabernacle.
17:6	我在以色列眾人中間行走時，何曾向以色列的一個士師，就是我吩咐牧養我民的說，你為何不給我建造香柏木的殿宇呢？ In all My going about among all Israel, did I ever speak a word to any of the judges of Israel, whom I commanded to shepherd My people, saying, Why have you not built Me a house of cedar?
17:7	現在，你要對我仆人大衛這樣說，萬軍之耶和華如此說，我從草場上選取了你，叫你不再跟從羊群，使你作我民以色列的領袖。 And now thus shall you say to My servant David, Thus says Jehovah of hosts, I took you from the pasture, from following the sheep, that you might be ruler over My people Israel;
17:8	凡你所到之處，我都與你同在，將你的一切仇敵從你麵前剪除。我必使你得大名，好像地上偉人的名一樣。 And I have been with you in every place that you have gone and have cut off all your enemies before you; and I will make a name for you, like the name of the great ones who are on the earth.
17:9	我必為我民以色列選定一個地方，栽植他們，使他們住自己的地方，不再受攪擾；凶惡之子也不再像從前擾害他們， And I will appoint a place for My people Israel and will plant them there, that they may dwell in their own place and be disturbed no more; and the sons of wickedness will waste them away no more as before,
17:10	並不像我命士師治理我民以色列的日子以來那樣；我必製伏你的一切仇敵。再者，我耶和華向你宣告，耶和華必為你建立家室。 Even since the time when I commanded that there be judges over My people Israel; and I will subdue all your enemies. Moreover I declare to you that Jehovah will build you a house.
17:11	你在世的日子滿足，到你列祖那裏去的時候，我必從你的眾子中興起你的後裔接續你，我也必堅定他的國。 When your days are fulfilled that you must go to be with your fathers, I will raise up your seed after you, which will be from your sons, and I will establish his kingdom.
17:12	他必為我建造殿宇；我必堅定他的國位，直到永遠。 It is he who will build a house for Me, and I will establish his throne forever.
17:13	我要作他的父，他要作我的子；我必不使我的慈愛離開他，像我使慈愛離開你以前的掃羅一樣。 I will be his Father, and he will be My son; and My lovingkindness I will not take from him, as I took it away from him who was before you.
17:14	我卻要將他永遠堅立在我家裏和我國裏；他的國位必永遠堅定。 And I will set him in My house and My kingdom forever, and his throne will be established forever.
17:15	拿單就按這一切話，照這全部異象，告訴大衛。 According to all these words and according to this whole vision did Nathan speak to David.
17:16	於是大衛王進去，坐在耶和華麵前，說，耶和華神阿，我是誰？我的家算什麼，你竟帶我到這地步呢？ Then King David went and sat before Jehovah; and he said, Who am I, O Jehovah God, and what is my house that You have brought me this far?
17:17	神阿，這在你眼中還看為小事；你又說到你仆人的家至於久遠；耶和華神阿，你竟看顧我好像看顧高貴的人。 And this was a small thing in Your sight, O God; but You have spoken of the house of Your servant for a great while to come; and You have regarded me according to the custom for a man of high degree, O Jehovah God.
17:18	對於你給仆人的尊榮，大衛還有何言可以加添呢？因為你知道你的仆人。 What more can David add to say to You concerning this honoring of Your servant? For You know Your servant.
17:19	耶和華阿，你因仆人的緣故，並照你的心意，行了這一切大事，為要使人知道這一切事。 O Jehovah, for Your servant's sake and according to Your own heart, You have done all this greatness to make known all these great things.
17:20	耶和華阿，照我們耳中所聽見的一切，沒有可比你的，除你以外再沒有神。 O Jehovah, there is none like You, nor is there any God besides You, according to all that we have heard with our ears.
17:21	有誰能比你的民以色列呢？以色列是地上獨特的國民，是神去救贖出來作自己的子民，好為自己立大而可畏的名，又在你從埃及贖出來的民麵前，驅逐列邦人。 And who is like Your people Israel, a nation unique on the earth, which God went to redeem to Himself as a people in order to make for Yourself a name of greatness and awesomeness to drive out nations from before Your people, whom You have redeemed out of Egypt?
17:22	你使你的民以色列作你的子民，直到永遠；耶和華阿，你也作了他們的神。 And You have made Your people Israel to be a people to You forever, and You, O Jehovah, became their God.
17:23	耶和華阿，願你所說關於你仆人和仆人家的話，如今得以堅立，直到永遠，求你照你所說的而行。 And now, O Jehovah, may the word which You have spoken concerning Your servant and concerning his house be established forever, and do as You have spoken.
17:24	願你的名永遠堅立，被尊為大，人要說，萬軍之耶和華是以色列的神，實在是以色列的神；這樣，你仆人大衛的家必在你麵前堅立。 And may Your name be established and magnified forever when men say, Jehovah of hosts is the God of Israel, even a God to Israel; and the house of David Your servant will be established before You.
17:25	我的神阿，因你啟示你的仆人，你必為他建立家室，所以仆人心中才敢在你麵前如此禱告。 For You, O my God, have revealed to Your servant, that You will build him a house; therefore Your servant has found it in his heart to pray before You.
17:26	耶和華阿，惟有你是神，論到你的仆人，你已講說了這美好的事。 And now, O Jehovah, You are God, and You have spoken this good matter concerning Your servant;
17:27	現在你已樂意賜福與仆人的家，使這家永存在你麵前；耶和華阿，你已經賜福，你仆人的家要蒙福到永遠。 Now therefore You have been pleased to bless the house of Your servant, that it may be before You forever; for You, O Jehovah, have blessed, and it is blessed forever.
