創世記-Genesis 第 36 章

36:1以掃就是以東，他的後代記在下麵：
Now these are the generations of Esau (that is, Edom).
36:2以掃娶迦南的女子為妻，就是赫人以倫的女兒亞大，和希未人祭便的孫女，亞拿的女兒阿何利巴瑪，
Esau took his wives from the daughters of Canaan: Adah the daughter of Elon the Hittite; and Oholibamah the daughter of Anah, the daughter of Zibeon the Hivite;
36:3又娶了以實瑪利的女兒，尼拜約的妹妹巴實抹。
And Basemath Ishmael's daughter, the sister of Nebaioth.
36:4亞大給以掃生了以利法；巴實抹生了流珥；
And Adah bore Eliphaz to Esau, and Basemath bore Reuel,
36:5阿何利巴瑪生了耶烏施、雅蘭、可拉。這些都是以掃的兒子，是在迦南地生的。
And Oholibamah bore Jeush and Jalam and Korah. These are the sons of Esau, who were born to him in the land of Canaan.
36:6以掃帶著他的妻子、兒女、與家中一切的人口，並他的牛羊、牲畜、和一切財物，就是他在迦南地所得的，往別地去，離開了他的弟弟雅各。
And Esau took his wives and his sons and his daughters and all his household and his livestock and all his cattle and all his possessions which he had acquired in the land of Canaan, and he went into a land away from his brother Jacob.
36:7因為二人的家產甚多，使他們不能同住一起，他們的群畜太多，寄居的地容不下他們。
For their property was too great for them to dwell together, and the land where they sojourned could not sustain them because of their livestock.
36:8於是以掃住在西珥山；以掃就是以東。
And Esau dwelt in Mount Seir; Esau is Edom.
36:9以掃是西珥山以東人的始祖，他的後代記在下麵。
And these are the generations of Esau the father of the Edomites in Mount Seir:
36:10以掃眾子的名字如下：以掃的妻子亞大生以利法；以掃的妻子巴實抹生流珥。
These are the names of Esau's sons: Eliphaz the son of Esau's wife Adah, Reuel the son of Esau's wife Basemath.
36:11以利法的兒子是提幔、阿抹、洗玻、迦坦、基納斯。
And the sons of Eliphaz were Teman, Omar, Zepho, and Gatam and Kenaz.
36:12亭納是以掃兒子以利法的妾；她給以利法生了亞瑪力。這些是以掃妻子亞大的子孫。
And Timna was a concubine to Eliphaz Esau's son, and she bore Amalek to Eliphaz. These are the sons of Esau's wife Adah.
36:13流珥的兒子是拿哈、謝拉、沙瑪、米撒。這些是以掃妻子巴實抹的子孫。
And these are the sons of Reuel: Nahath and Zerah, Shammah and Mizzah. These were the sons of Esau's wife Basemath.
36:14以掃的妻子阿何利巴瑪是祭便的孫女，亞拿的女兒；她給以掃生了耶烏施、雅蘭、可拉。
And these were the sons of Oholibamah the daughter of Anah, the daughter of Zibeon, Esau's wife: And she bore to Esau Jeush and Jalam and Korah.
36:15以掃子孫中的各族記在下麵：以掃的長子以利法的子孫中，有提幔族、阿抹族、洗玻族、基納斯族、
These are the clans of the sons of Esau. The sons of Eliphaz the firstborn of Esau: Clan Teman, Clan Omar, Clan Zepho, Clan Kenaz,
36:16可拉族、迦坦族、亞瑪力族。這些是在以東地從以利法所出的各族，都是亞大的子孫。
Clan Korah, Clan Gatam, Clan Amalek; these are the clans of Eliphaz in the land of Edom. These are the sons of Adah.
36:17以掃的兒子流珥的子孫中，有拿哈族、謝拉族、沙瑪族、米撒族。這些是在以東地從流珥所出的各族，都是以掃妻子巴實抹的子孫。
And these are the sons of Reuel, Esau's son: Clan Nahath, Clan Zerah, Clan Shammah, Clan Mizzah; these are the clans of Reuel in the land of Edom. These are the sons of Basemath, Esau's wife.
36:18以掃妻子阿何利巴瑪的子孫中，有耶烏施族、雅蘭族、可拉族。這些是從以掃的妻子，亞拿的女兒，阿何利巴瑪所出的各族。
And these are the sons of Oholibamah, Esau's wife: Clan Jeush, Clan Jalam, Clan Korah. These are the clans of Oholibamah the daughter of Anah, Esau's wife.
36:19以上的各族都是以掃的子孫；以掃就是以東。
These are the sons of Esau (that is, Edom), and these are their clans.
36:20那地原有的居民，何利人西珥的子孫記在下麵，就是羅坍、朔巴、祭便、亞拿、
These are the sons of Seir the Horite, the inhabitants of the land: Lotan and Shobal and Zibeon and Anah
36:21底順、以察、底珊。這些是從以東地西珥的子孫，何利人中所出的族長。
And Dishon and Ezer and Dishan; these are the clans of the Horites, the children of Seir in the land of Edom.
36:22羅坍的兒子是何利、希幔；羅坍的妹妹是亭納。
And the sons of Lotan were Hori and Heman; and Lotan's sister was Timna.
36:23朔巴的兒子是亞勒文、瑪拿轄、以巴錄、示玻、阿南。
And these are the sons of Shobal: Alvan and Manahath and Ebal, Shepho and Onam.
36:24祭便的兒子是亞雅、亞拿。當時在曠野放他父親祭便的驢，發現溫泉的，就是這亞拿。
And these are the sons of Zibeon: Aiah and Anah. This is the Anah who found the hot springs in the wilderness as he fed the donkeys of Zibeon his father.
36:25亞拿的兒子是底順；亞拿的女兒是阿何利巴瑪。
And these are the children of Anah: Dishon and Oholibamah the daughter of Anah.
36:26底順的兒子是欣但、伊是班、益蘭、基蘭。
And these are the sons of Dishon: Hemdan and Eshban and Ithran and Cheran.
36:27以察的兒子是辟罕、撒番、亞幹。
These are the sons of Ezer: Bilhan and Zaavan and Akan.
36:28底珊的兒子是烏斯、亞蘭。
These are the sons of Dishan: Uz and Aran.
36:29從何利人所出的各族記在下麵，就是羅坍族、朔巴族、祭便族、亞拿族、
These are the clans of the Horites: Clan Lotan, Clan Shobal, Clan Zibeon, Clan Anah,
36:30底順族、以察族、底珊族。這些是從何利人所出的各族，都在西珥地，各按各族。
Clan Dishon, Clan Ezer, Clan Dishan. These are the clans of the Horites, according to their clans in the land of Seir.
36:31以色列人未有君王治理以前，在以東地作王的記在下麵。
And these are the kings who reigned in the land of Edom before a king of the children of Israel reigned:
36:32比珥的兒子比拉在以東作王，他的京城名叫亭哈巴。
Now Bela the son of Beor reigned in Edom, and the name of his city was Dinhabah.
36:33比拉死了，波斯拉人謝拉的兒子約巴接續他作王。
And Bela died, and Jobab the son of Zerah of Bozrah reigned in his place.
36:34約巴死了，提幔地的人戶珊接續他作王。
And Jobab died, and Husham of the land of the Temanites reigned in his place.
36:35戶珊死了，比達的兒子哈達接續他作王；這哈達就是在摩押田野擊殺米甸人的，他的京城名叫亞未得。
And Husham died; and Hadad the son of Bedad, who struck Midian in the field of Moab, reigned in his place; and the name of his city was Avith.
36:36哈達死了，瑪士利加人桑拉接續他作王。
And Hadad died, and Samlah of Masrekah reigned in his place.
36:37桑拉死了，大河邊的利河伯人掃羅接續他作王。
And Samlah died, and Shaul of Rehoboth by the River reigned in his place.
36:38掃羅死了，亞革波的兒子巴勒哈南接續他作王。
And Shaul died, and Baal-hanan the son of Achbor reigned in his place.
36:39亞革波的兒子巴勒哈南死了，哈達接續他作王，他的京城名叫巴烏；他的妻子名叫米希他別，是米薩合的孫女，瑪特列的女兒。
And Baal-hanan the son of Achbor died, and Hadar reigned in his place. And the name of his city was Pau; and his wife's name was Mehetabel the daughter of Matred, the daughter of Mezahab.
36:40從以掃所出的各族，按著他們的家族、地方，名字記在下麵，就是亭納族、亞勒瓦族、耶帖族、
And these are the names of the clans of Esau, according to their families, according to their places, by their names: Clan Timna, Clan Alvah, Clan Jetheth,
36:41阿何利巴瑪族、以拉族、比嫩族、
Clan Oholibamah, Clan Elah, Clan Pinon,
36:42基納斯族、提幔族、米比薩族、
Clan Kenaz, Clan Teman, Clan Mibzar,
36:43瑪基疊族、以蘭族。這些是以東人在所得為業的地上，按著他們住處的各族。以東人的始祖就是以掃。
Clan Magdiel, Clan Iram. These are the clans of Edom according to their habitations in the land of their possession. This is Esau the father of the Edomites.
