耶利米書-Jeremiah 第 44 章

44:1	有臨到耶利米的話，論及一切住在埃及地的猶大人，就是住在密奪、答比匿、挪弗、巴忒羅地的猶大人，說， The word that came to Jeremiah concerning all the Jews who dwelt in the land of Egypt, who dwelt at Migdol and at Tahpanhes and at Memphis and in the land of Pathros, saying,
44:2	萬軍之耶和華以色列的神如此說，我所降與耶路撒冷和猶大各城的一切災禍，你們都看見了；看哪，那些城邑今日荒涼，無人居住， Thus says Jehovah of hosts, the God of Israel, You have seen all the evil that I have brought upon Jerusalem and upon all the cities of Judah; and see, today they are a desolation, and no one dwells in them,
44:3	這是因他們所行的惡惹我發怒，去燒香事奉別神，就是他們和你們，並你們列祖所不認識的神，。 Because of their wickedness which they did to provoke Me to anger, in that they went to burn incense to serve other gods, which they did not know, neither they, you, nor your fathers.
44:4	我從早起來差遣我的仆人眾申言者到你們那裏去，說，你們切不要行我所恨惡這可憎之事。 Yet I sent to you all My servants the prophets, rising up early and sending them, saying, Do not do this abominable thing which I hate.
44:5	他們卻不聽從，不側耳而聽，不轉離惡事，仍向別神燒香。 But they did not listen or incline their ear to turn from their wickedness, so as not to burn incense to other gods.
44:6	因此，我的忿怒和怒氣都倒出來，在猶大的城邑中和耶路撒冷的街道上，如火著起，以致成為荒廢淒涼，正如今日一樣。 And My wrath and My anger poured forth and burned in the cities of Judah and in the streets of Jerusalem, and they became a waste and a desolation, as they are this day.
44:7	現在耶和華萬軍之神，以色列的神如此說，你們為何作這大惡自害己命，使你們的男人、婦女、嬰孩、和吃奶的，都從猶大中剪除，不留剩一人呢？ And now thus says Jehovah the God of hosts, the God of Israel, Why do you do a great evil against your souls, so as to cut off from yourselves man and woman, little one and nursing child, from the midst of Judah, leaving yourselves no remnant,
44:8	就是因你們手所作的，在所去寄居的埃及地，向別神燒香惹我發怒，使你們被剪除，在地上萬國中令人咒詛、羞辱 Provoking Me to anger with the works of your hands, burning incense to other gods in the land of Egypt, where you have come to sojourn, so that you might be cut off and that you might become a curse and a reproach among all the nations of the earth?
44:9	你們列祖的惡，猶大列王和他們後妃的惡，你們自己和你們妻子的惡，就是在猶大地、耶路撒冷街上所行的，你們都忘了麼？ Have you forgotten the wickedness of your fathers and the wickedness of the kings of Judah and the wickedness of their wives and your own wickedness and the wickedness of your wives, which they did in the land of Judah and in the streets of Jerusalem?
44:10	你們到如今還沒有痛悔，沒有懼怕，沒有遵行我在你們和你們列祖麵前所設立的律法和條例。 They have not become contrite even to this day, nor have they feared or walked in My law or in My statutes, which I set before you and before your fathers.
44:11	所以萬軍之耶和華以色列的神如此說，我必向你們變臉降災，以致剪除猶大眾人。 Therefore thus says Jehovah of hosts, the God of Israel, I will set My face against you for evil, even to cut off all Judah.
44:12	那定意進入埃及地在那裏寄居的，就是餘剩的猶大人，我必把他們除去；他們必盡都滅絕，必在埃及地仆倒，必因刀劍、饑荒滅絕；從最小的到至大的，都必遭刀劍、饑荒而死；他們必成為辱罵、驚駭、咒詛、羞辱。 And I will take the remnant of Judah who have set their faces to go to the land of Egypt to sojourn there, and they will all be consumed; in the land of Egypt they will fall; by sword and by famine they will be consumed. From the small even unto the great, by sword and by famine they will die; and they will become an execration, an astonishment, and a curse and a reproach.
44:13	我怎樣用刀劍、饑荒、瘟疫懲罰耶路撒冷，也必照樣懲罰那些住在埃及地的猶大人。 And I will punish those who dwell in the land of Egypt, as I have punished Jerusalem: with sword, with famine, and with pestilence.
44:14	甚至那些進入埃及地在那裏寄居的，就是餘剩的猶大人，沒有一人能逃脫、幸存，而能歸回猶大地，就是他們渴想歸回居住之地；除了一些逃脫的以外，他們都不能歸回。 And there will not be one who has escaped nor a survivor of the remnant of Judah, who went to sojourn there in the land of Egypt, even to return to the land of Judah, where they desire to return to dwell; for they will not return, except for some who will escape.
44:15	那些住在埃及地巴忒羅，知道自己妻子向別神燒香的眾民，與旁邊站立的眾婦女聚集成大群，回答耶利米，說， Then all the men who knew that their wives burned incense to other gods and all the women who stood by, a great assemblage, even all the people who dwelt in Pathros in the land of Egypt, answered Jeremiah, saying,
44:16	論到你奉耶和華的名向我們所說的話，我們必不聽從。 As for the word which you have spoken to us in the name of Jehovah, we will not listen to you.
44:17	我們定要成就我們口中所出的一切話，向天後燒香、澆奠祭，按我們與我們列祖、君王、首領，在猶大的城邑中和耶路撒冷的街道上，素常所行的一樣；因為那時我們吃飽飯，享福樂，並不見災禍。 But we will surely do everything which has gone out of our mouth, burning incense to the queen of heaven and pouring out libations to her, just as we ourselves and our fathers, our kings, and our princes did in the cities of Judah and in the streets of Jerusalem; for we had plenty of food and were well off and did not see evil.
44:18	自從我們停止向天後燒香、澆奠祭，我們倒缺乏一切，又因刀劍、饑荒滅絕。 But since we ceased burning incense to the queen of heaven and pouring out libations to her, we have lacked everything and have been consumed by sword and by famine.
44:19	婦女說，我們向天後燒香、澆奠祭，作餅給她，向她澆奠祭，難道沒有我們的丈夫同著麼？ And when we burned incense to the queen of heaven and poured out libations to her, did we make cakes to her, making images of her and pouring out libations to her, without our husbands?
44:20	耶利米對眾民，論到一切那樣回答他的男女眾人，說， Then Jeremiah spoke to all the people concerning the men and concerning the women, even concerning all the peo- ple who had given him that answer, saying,
44:21	你們與你們列祖、君王、首領、並這地的百姓，在猶大城邑中和耶路撒冷街道上所燒的香，耶和華豈不記得，心中豈不思想麼？ As for the incense which you burned in the cities of Judah and in the streets of Jerusalem, you and your fathers, your kings and your princes, and the people of the land, did not Jehovah remember them, and did it not come up in His heart?
44:22	耶和華因你們所作的惡，所行可憎的事，不能再容忍；所以你們的地成為荒涼、驚駭、咒詛，無人居住，正如今日一樣。 And Jehovah was no longer able to bear it because of the evil of your deeds, because of the abominations which you committed; therefore your land has become a desolation and an astonishment and a curse, without inhabitant, as it is this day.
44:23	你們燒香，得罪耶和華，沒有聽從耶和華的話，沒有遵行祂的律法、條例、法度；所以你們遭遇這災禍，正如今日一樣。 Because you burned incense and because you sinned against Jehovah and did not listen to the voice of Jehovah or walk in His law or in His statutes or in His testimonies, therefore this evil has happened to you, as it is this day.
44:24	耶利米又對眾民和眾婦女說，你們在埃及地的一切猶大人，當聽耶和華的話： Then Jeremiah said to all the people and to all the women, Hear the word of Jehovah, all Judah who are in the land of Egypt:
44:25	萬軍之耶和華以色列的神如此說，你們和你們的妻子，都口中說，手裏作，說，我們定要履行所許的願，向天後燒香、澆奠祭；現在你們隻管堅立所許的願，履行所許的願罷。 Thus speaks Jehovah of hosts, the God of Israel, saying, You and your wives have both spoken with your mouths and have fulfilled it with your hands, saying, We will surely perform our vows by which we have vowed to burn incense to the queen of heaven and to pour out libations to her. Establish then your vows, and by all means perform your vows.
44:26	所以你們住在埃及地的一切猶大人，當聽耶和華的話；耶和華說，我指著我的大名起誓，在埃及全地，我的名不再被任何一個猶大人的口稱呼，說，我指著主永活的耶和華起誓。 Therefore hear the word of Jehovah, all Judah who dwell in the land of Egypt, I have sworn by My great name, says Jehovah: My name shall no longer be called upon by the mouth of any man of Judah in all the land of Egypt, saying, As the Lord Jehovah lives.
44:27	我必向他們留意降禍不降福，在埃及地的一切猶大人必因刀劍、饑荒滅亡，直到滅盡。 I will be watchful over them for evil and not for good, and all the men of Judah who are in the land of Egypt shall be consumed by sword and by famine until there is an end of them.
44:28	逃脫刀劍，從埃及地歸回猶大地的人數很少；一切餘剩的猶大人，就是那些進入埃及地要在那裏寄居的，必知道是誰的話立得住，是我的話呢？還是他們的話？ And those who escape the sword will return from the land of Egypt to the land of Judah few in number, and all the remnant of Judah who came to the land of Egypt to sojourn there will know whose word will be established, Mine or theirs.
44:29	耶和華說，我在這地方懲罰你們，這是給你們的豫兆，使你們知道我降禍與你們的話，必要立得住。 And this will be a sign to you, declares Jehovah, that I will punish you in this place, so that you will know that My words will surely be established against you for evil:
44:30	耶和華如此說，我必將埃及王法老合弗拉交在他仇敵和尋索其命的人手中，像我將猶大王西底家交在他仇敵和尋索其命的巴比倫王尼布甲尼撒手中一樣。 Thus says Jehovah, I will give Pharaoh Hophra, the king of Egypt, into the hand of his enemies, into the hand of those who seek his life, just as I gave Zedekiah the king of Judah into the hand of Nebuchadrezzar the king of Babylon, who was his enemy and sought his life.
