| 46:1 | 耶和華論列國的話臨到申言者耶利米。 The word of Jehovah that came to Jeremiah the prophet concerning the nations: |
| 46:2 | 論埃及：關於埃及王法老尼哥的軍隊；這軍隊在伯拉河邊的迦基米施，是巴比倫王尼布甲尼撒在猶大王約西亞的兒子約雅敬第四年所打敗的。 Concerning Egypt: Concerning the army of Pharaoh Neco, the king of Egypt, which was by the river Euphrates at Carchemish, which Nebuchadrezzar the king of Babylon struck down in the fourth year of Jehoiakim the son of Josiah, the king of Judah: |
| 46:3 | 你們要豫備大小盾牌，往前上陣。 Prepare the buckler and shield, And draw near to battle. |
| 46:4 | 你們要套上車，騎上馬，頂盔站立，磨槍披甲。 Harness the horses, And mount the steeds; And take your stand with helmets on; Polish the spears; Put on the armor. |
| 46:5 | 我為何看見他們驚惶，轉身退後呢？他們的勇士被擊潰了，急忙逃跑，並不回頭；四圍都是驚嚇；這是耶和華說的。 Why have I seen it? They are dismayed; They are turning backward; And their mighty men are crushed and flee in hasty flight, And they do not look back; terror is on every side, Declares Jehovah. |
| 46:6 | 不要讓快跑的逃走，不要讓勇士逃脫；他們在北方伯拉河邊絆跌仆倒。 Let not the swift one flee away And the mighty man escape; In the north by the river Euphrates They have stumbled and fallen. |
| 46:7 | 那像尼羅河漲發，像江河之水翻騰的是誰呢？ Who is this who rises up like the Nile, Like rivers whose waters surge? |
| 46:8 | 埃及像尼羅河漲發，像江河的水翻騰。他說，我要漲發淹沒這地；我要毀滅城邑，和其中的居民。 Egypt rises up like the Nile, Even like rivers whose waters surge. And he says, I will rise up and will cover the land; I will destroy the city and the inhabitants in it. |
| 46:9 | 馬匹阿，上去罷；戰車阿，急行罷；勇士，就是手拿盾牌的古實人和弗人，並拉弓的路德族，都出去罷。 Go up, O horses, And drive furiously, O chariots; And let the mighty men go forth: Cush and Put, who handle the shield, And the Ludim, who handle and bend the bow. |
| 46:10 | 這日是屬主萬軍之耶和華的，是報仇的日子，要向敵人報仇；刀劍必吞吃得飽，飲血飲足；因為在北方之地伯拉河邊，有獻給主萬軍之耶和華的祭。 For this day belongs to the Lord Jehovah of hosts, A day of vengeance to avenge Himself on His adversaries; And the sword will devour and be satisfied, And it will drink its fill of their blood; For there is a sacrifice to the Lord Jehovah of hosts In the land of the north by the river Euphrates. |
| 46:11 | 埃及的處女阿，可以上基列取乳香去；你雖多服良藥，總是徒然，不得治好。 Go up to Gilead and take balm, O virgin daughter of Egypt. In vain you have used many medicines-There is no healing for you. |
| 46:12 | 列國聽見你的羞辱，大地滿了你的哀聲；勇士與勇士彼此相碰，一齊跌倒。 The nations have heard of your disgrace, And your cry has filled the earth; For mighty man has stumbled against mighty man; Both of them have fallen together. |
| 46:13 | 耶和華對申言者耶利米所說的話，論到巴比倫王尼布甲尼撒要來攻擊埃及地： The word which Jehovah spoke to Jeremiah the prophet about the coming of Nebuchadrezzar the king of Babylon to strike the land of Egypt: |
| 46:14 | 你們要傳揚在埃及，宣告在密奪，報告在挪弗、答比匿，說，要站穩，自作準備；因為刀劍在你四圍施行吞滅。 Declare in Egypt, and proclaim in Migdol; Proclaim also in Memphis and in Tahpanhes. Say, Take your stand, and prepare yourself; For the sword has devoured all around you. |
| 46:15 | 你的壯士為何仆倒？他站立不住，因為耶和華將他推倒了。 Why are your mighty men prostrate? He does not stand, because Jehovah has cast him down. |
| 46:16 | 他使多人絆跌；他們也彼此撞倒，說，起來罷，我們回到本民和出生地去，好躲避欺壓者的刀劍。 He made many stumble; A man even fell against his neighbor; And they said, Arise and let us return To our own people and to the land of our birth, Away from the sword of the oppressor. |
| 46:17 | 他們在那裏喊叫說，埃及王法老不過是哄嚷的聲音；他已錯過所定的時候了。 There they cried, Pharaoh, the king of Egypt, is but a noise; He has let the appointed time pass by. |
| 46:18 | 名為萬軍之耶和華的王說，我指著我的生存起誓，尼布甲尼撒必來，他的氣勢必像他泊在眾山之中，像迦密在海邊一樣。 As I live, says the King, Whose name is Jehovah of hosts, Surely as Tabor is among the mountains, And Carmel is by the sea, so he will come. |
| 46:19 | 埃及的女子阿，居民哪，要豫備擄去時所用的物件；因為挪弗必成為荒場，且被燒毀，無人居住。 Prepare for yourself baggage for captivity, O inhabitant, O daughter of Egypt; For Memphis will become a waste, And it will be burned, without inhabitant. |
| 46:20 | 埃及是肥美的母牛犢；但出於北方的牛 來到她身上了。 Egypt is a beautiful heifer; A gadfly from the north has come on her. |
| 46:21 | 其中的雇勇，好像圈裏的肥牛犢；他們也轉身退後，一齊逃跑，站立不住；因為他們遭難的日子，追討的時候，已經臨到。 Also her hired men in her midst Are like fattened calves. But they have also turned back; They have fled together; they did not stand. For the day of their calamity has come on them, The time of their \caps0 2visitation. |
| 46:22 | 她的聲音好像蛇行的聲音一樣；敵人要成隊前來，如砍伐樹木的拿斧子來攻擊她。 Her sound is like that of a serpent going away; For they go forth in force, And with axes they come against her, Like those who fell trees. |
| 46:23 | 耶和華說，埃及的樹林，雖然穿越不過，敵人卻要砍伐；因他們多於蝗蟲，不可勝數。 They will cut down her forest, declares Jehovah, Although it is impenetrable; For they are more numerous than locusts And are without number. |
| 46:24 | 埃及的女子蒙受羞辱，交在北方的民手中。 The daughter of Egypt is put to shame; She is given into the hand of a people from the north. |
| 46:25 | 萬軍之耶和華以色列的神說，我必懲罰挪的亞捫神、法老、並埃及、與埃及的神、以及埃及的諸王，就是法老和倚靠他的人。 Jehovah of hosts, the God of Israel, says, I will punish Amon of No and Pharaoh and Egypt and her gods and her kings, even Pharaoh and those who trust in him. |
| 46:26 | 我要將他們交付尋索他們性命之人的手，就是巴比倫王尼布甲尼撒與他臣仆的手；此後埃及必再有人居住，與從前一樣；這是耶和華說的。 And I will give them into the hand of those who seek their life, even into the hand of Nebuchadrezzar the king of Babylon and into the hand of his servants; and afterward she will be inhabited as in the days of old, declares Jehovah. |
| 46:27 | 至於你，我的仆人雅各阿，不要懼怕；以色列阿，不要驚惶。因為我要從遠方拯救你，從你後裔被擄到之地拯救他們；雅各必回來得享平靜安寧，無人使他害怕。 But as for you, O Jacob My servant, do not fear; And do not be dismayed, O Israel. For indeed I will save you from afar And your seed from the land of their captivity; And Jacob will return and be undisturbed And at ease, and no one will frighten him. |
| 46:28 | 我的仆人雅各阿，不要懼怕；因我與你同在；我要將我所趕你到的那些國滅絕淨盡；卻不將你滅絕淨盡，倒要適度管教你，絕不能不罰你；這是耶和華說的。 As for you, O Jacob My servant, do not fear, declares Jehovah, For I am with you; For I will make a full end of all the nations To which I have driven you; Yet I will not make a full end of you, But will correct you in measure And will by no means leave you unpunished. |
