| 4:1 | 萬軍之耶和華說，那日子來到，如燒 的火爐；凡狂傲的和行惡的，必如碎桔；那要來之日必將他們燒盡，不給他們留下根和枝條。 For indeed the day comes, burning like a furnace, and all the proud ones and all the ones who act wickedly will be stubble; and the coming day will set them ablaze, says Jehovah of hosts, so that it will not leave them root or branch. |
| 4:2 | 但向你們敬畏我名的人，必有公義的日頭升起，其翅膀有醫治之能；你們必如圈裏的肥牛犢出來跳躍。 But unto you who fear My name will the Sun of righteousness arise with healing in His wings, and you will go forth and leap about like well-fed calves. |
| 4:3 | 你們必踐踏惡人；因為在我所豫備的日子，他們必如灰塵在你們腳掌之下；這是萬軍之耶和華說的。 And you will trample the wicked, for they will be ashes under the soles of your feet in the day that I prepare, says Jehovah of hosts. |
| 4:4 | 你們當記念我仆人摩西的律法，就是我在何烈山為以色列眾人所吩咐他的律例和典章。 Remember the law of Moses My servant, which I commanded him in Horeb for all Israel, that is, the statutes and the ordinances. |
| 4:5 | 看哪，耶和華大而可畏之日未到以前，我必差遣申言者以利亞到你們那裏去。 I am about to send Elijah the prophet to you before the great and terrible day of Jehovah comes; |
| 4:6 | 他必使父親的心轉向兒女，兒女的心轉向父親，免得我來，用咒詛擊打這地。 And he will turn the heart of the fathers to the children and the heart of the children to their fathers, lest I come and strike the land with a curse. |
