使徒行傳-Acts 第 13 章

13:1在安提阿當地的召會中，有幾位申言者和教師，就是巴拿巴和稱呼尼結的西麵，古利奈人路求，與分封王希律同養的馬念，並掃羅。
Now there were in Antioch, in the local church, prophets and teachers: Barnabas and Simeon, who was called Niger, and Lucius the Cyrenian, and Manaen, the foster brother of Herod the tetrarch, and Saul.
13:2他們事奉主，禁食的時候，聖靈說，要為我分別巴拿巴和掃羅，去作我召他們所作的工。
And as they were ministering to the Lord and fasting, the Holy Spirit said, Set apart for Me now Barnabas and Saul for the work to which I have called them.
13:3於是禁食禱告，按手在他們身上，就打發他們去了。
Then, when they had fasted and prayed and laid their hands on them, they sent them away.
13:4他們既被聖靈差遣，就下到西流基，從那裏坐船往居比路去。
They then, having been sent out by the Holy Spirit, went down to Seleucia; and from there they sailed away to Cyprus.
13:5到了撒拉米，就在猶太人的各會堂裏宣傳神的話，也有約翰作他們的幫手。
And when they were in Salamis, they announced the word of God in the synagogues of the JEWS. And they also had John as their attendant.
13:6他們經過全島，到了帕弗，遇見一個猶太人，是個行法術的假申言者，名叫巴耶穌，
And when they had passed through the whole island as far as Paphos, they found a certain man, a magician and Jewish false prophet, whose name was Bar-jesus,
13:7他常和省長士求保羅同在，士求保羅是個通達人，他請了巴拿巴和掃羅來，切求要聽神的話。
Who was with the proconsul, Sergius Paulus, an intelligent man; the latter called Barnabas and Saul to him and sought to hear the word of God.
13:8隻是那行法術的以呂馬（他的名字翻出來就是行法術的）抵擋使徒，想要叫省長轉離這信仰。
But Elymas the magician (for so his name is translated) opposed them, seeking to turn the proconsul away from the faith.
13:9掃羅，又名保羅，被聖靈充溢，定睛看他，說，
But Saul, who is also Paul, filled with the Holy Spirit, looked intently at him
13:10你這滿了各樣詭詐和奸惡，魔鬼的兒子，眾義的仇敵，你歪曲主的正路，還不止住麼？
And said, O you who are full of all deceit and all unscrupulousness, son of the devil, enemy of all righteousness, will you not cease perverting the straight ways of the Lord?
13:11看哪，現在主的手臨到你，你要瞎眼，暫時不見日光。立刻就有霧氣和黑暗落在他身上，他就四下找人牽手領他。
And now, behold, the hand of the Lord is upon you, and you will be blind, not seeing the sun for a time. And instantly a mist and a darkness fell upon him; and he went about and sought some to lead him by the hand.
13:12省長看見所發生的事，因驚訝主的教訓，就信了。
Then the proconsul, seeing what had happened, believed, being astonished at the teaching of the Lord.
13:13保羅和他的同伴從帕弗開船，來到旁非利亞的別加；約翰就離開他們，回耶路撒冷去。
And putting out to sea from Paphos, Paul and his companions came to Perga of Pamphylia; and John departed from them and returned to Jerusalem.
13:14他們離開別加往前行，來到彼西底的安提阿，在安息日進入會堂坐下。
And they passed through from Perga and arrived at Pisidian Antioch. And they went into the synagogue on the Sabbath day and sat down.
13:15讀過了律法和申言者的書，管會堂的打發人到他們跟前，說，二位，弟兄們，若有什麼勸勉百姓的話，請說。
And after the reading of the Law and the Prophets, the synagogue rulers sent word to them, saying, Men, brothers, if you have any word of exhortation for the people, say it.
13:16保羅就站起來，擺手說，諸位，以色列人和敬畏神的人，請聽：
And Paul, rising up and motioning with his hand, said, Men of Israel and those who fear God, listen.
13:17這以色列民的神，揀選了我們的祖宗，當這民寄居埃及地的時候，抬舉他們，以高舉的膀臂領他們出來；
The God of this people Israel chose our fathers and exalted the people during their sojourn in the land of Egypt, and with a high arm He led them out of it.
13:18又在曠野撫養他們，為時約有四十年；
And for a time of about forty years He carried them as a nurse in the wilderness.
13:19既滅了迦南地的七族，就把那地分給他們為業；
And when He had overthrown seven nations in the land of Canaan, He distributed their land as an inheritance.
13:20此後給他們設立士師，直到申言者撒母耳的時候，約有四百五十年。
And after these things, for about four hundred and fifty years, He gave them judges until Samuel the prophet.
13:21後來他們求一個王，神就把便雅憫支派中的一個人，基士的兒子掃羅，賜給他們作王四十年。
And afterward they asked for a king; and God gave them Saul, the son of Kish, a man of the tribe of Benjamin, for forty years.
13:22既廢了掃羅，就興起大衛作他們的王，又為他作見證說，我尋得耶西的兒子大衛，他是合乎我心的人，必實行我一切的旨意。
And when He had deposed him, He raised up David for them as king, to whom also He testified and said, I have found David, the son of Jesse, a man according to My heart, who will do all My will.
13:23從這人的後裔中，神已經照著所應許的，給以色列帶來一位救主，就是耶穌。
From this man's seed, God, according to promise, brought to Israel a Savior, Jesus,
13:24在祂來到以前，約翰預先向以色列眾民宣傳悔改的浸。
After John had proclaimed, prior to His public entrance, a baptism of repentance to all the people of Israel.
13:25約翰將行盡他路程的時候，說，你們以為我是誰？我不是基督；隻是看哪，有一位要在我以後來，我就是解祂腳上的鞋帶也不配。
Now as John was completing his course, he said, What do you suppose that I am? I am not the Christ. But behold, One is coming after me, the sandals of whose feet I am not worthy to untie.
13:26諸位，弟兄們，亞伯拉罕種族的子孫，和你們中間敬畏神的人哪，這救恩的話是傳給我們的。
Men, brothers, sons of the race of Abraham, and those among you who fear God, to us the word of this salvation has been sent forth.
13:27耶路撒冷的居民和他們的官長，因為不認識這人，也不明白每安息日所讀眾申言者的話，就審判了祂，正應驗了申言者的話。
For those dwelling in Jerusalem and their rulers, being ignorant of this One and of the words of the prophets which are read every Sabbath, fulfilled them by judging Him.
13:28雖然查不出祂有什麼該定死罪的，還是求彼拉多殺祂。
And though they did not find one cause of death in Him, they asked of Pilate that He be done away with.
13:29既成就了經上所記關於祂的一切事，就把祂從木頭上取下來，放在墳墓裏。
And when they had accomplished all that was written concerning Him, they took Him down from the tree and laid Him in a tomb.
13:30神卻叫祂從死人中複活。
But God raised Him from the dead.
13:31祂多日向那些從加利利同祂上耶路撒冷的人顯現，這些人如今向百姓作了祂的見證人。
And for many days He appeared to those who had come up with Him from Galilee to Jerusalem, who are now His witnesses to the people.
13:32我們也傳福音給你們，就是那給祖宗的應許，
And we announce to you the gospel of the promise made to the fathers,
13:33神已經向我們這作兒女的完全應驗，叫耶穌複活了，正如詩篇第二篇上所記：“你是我的兒子，我今日生了你。”
That God has fully fulfilled this promise to us their children in raising up Jesus, as it is also written in the second Psalm, "You are My Son; this day have I begotten You.''
13:34論到神叫祂從死人中複活，不再歸於朽壞，就這樣說：“我必將大衛那聖的，那可靠的，賜給你們。”
And as to His having raised Him up from the dead, no longer to return to corruption, He spoke in this way, "I will give you the holy things of David, the faithful things.''
13:35所以又在另一篇上說，“你必不容你的聖者見朽壞。”
Therefore He also says in another place, "You will not allow Your Holy One to see corruption.''
13:36大衛在神的旨意中，服事了他那一代的人，就睡了，歸到他祖宗那裏，已見朽壞；
Now David, having served his own generation by the counsel of God, did indeed fall asleep and was buried with his fathers and saw corruption;
13:37惟獨神所複活的，祂並未見朽壞。
But He whom God has raised did not see corruption.
13:38所以諸位，弟兄們，你們當曉得，赦罪是藉這人傳給你們的。
Therefore let it be known to you, men, brothers, that through this One forgiveness of sins is announced to you;
13:39在一切你們靠摩西的律法不得稱義的事上，靠這人，凡信的就都得稱義了。
And from all the things from which you were not able to be justified by the law of Moses, in this One everyone who believes is justified.
13:40所以你們要謹慎，免得申言者書上所說的臨到你們：
Therefore beware that what is spoken in the prophets does not come upon you:
13:41“輕慢的人哪，你們要觀看，要希奇，要滅亡；因為在你們的日子，我行一件事，就是有人詳細的告訴你們，你們也絕不信。”
"Look, you despisers, and marvel, and vanish away; for I am doing a work in your days, a work which you will by no means believe, though someone tells it to you in detail.''
13:42他們出會堂的時候，眾人懇求他們到下個安息日，再講這話給他們聽。
And as Paul and Barnabas were going out, the people begged that these words would be spoken to them on the next Sabbath.
13:43散會以後，猶太人和敬神入猶太教的人，多有跟從保羅、巴拿巴的，二人對他們講論，勸勉他們要一直留於神的恩中。
And when the synagogue gathering had been dismissed, many of the Jews and the devout proselytes followed Paul and Barnabas, who spoke to them and urged them to continue in the grace of God.
13:44到了下個安息日，全城的人幾乎都來聚集，要聽神的話。
And on the following Sabbath almost all the city gathered together to hear the word of God.
13:45但猶太人看見群眾，就充滿嫉妒，硬駁保羅所說的話，並且毀謗。
But when the Jews saw the crowds, they were filled with jealousy and contradicted the things being spoken by Paul and blasphemed.
13:46保羅和巴拿巴放膽說，神的話先講給你們聽，原是應當的；隻因你們棄絕這話，斷定自己不配得永遠的生命，看哪，我們就轉向外邦人去。
And Paul and Barnabas spoke boldly and said, It was necessary for the word of God to be spoken to you first. Since you thrust it away and do not judge yourselves worthy of eternal life, behold, we turn to the Gentiles.
13:47因為主曾這樣吩咐我們說，“我已經立你作外邦人的光，叫你施行救恩直到地極。”
For so the Lord has commanded us, "I have set you as a light of the Gentiles, that you would be for salvation unto the uttermost part of the earth.''
13:48外邦人聽見了，就歡樂，並且榮耀主的話，凡指定得永遠生命的人都信了。
And the Gentiles, hearing this, rejoiced and glorified the word of the Lord; and as many as were appointed to eternal life believed.
13:49於是主的話傳遍了整個地區。
And the word of the Lord was carried through the whole region.
13:50但猶太人挑唆敬神的尊貴婦女，和城內首要的人，掀起逼迫，反對保羅、巴拿巴，將他們趕出境外。
But the Jews incited the women of high standing who worshipped God, and the chief men of the city, and raised up a persecution against Paul and Barnabas and cast them out from their borders.
13:51二人對著眾人跺下腳上的塵土，就往以哥念去了。
But they shook off the dust of their feet against them and came to Iconium.
13:52門徒就被喜樂和聖靈充滿。
And the disciples were filled with joy and with the Holy Spirit.
