| 10:1 | 耶路撒冷王亞多尼洗德聽見約書亞奪了艾城，把城盡行毀滅，(約書亞怎樣待耶利哥和耶利哥的王，也照樣待艾城和艾城的王，)又聽見基遍的居民與以色列人講和，住在他們中間， And when Adoni-zedek the king of Jerusalem heard that Joshua had taken Ai and had utterly destroyed it (as he had done to Jericho and its king, so did he do to Ai and its king), and that the inhabitants of Gibeon had made peace with Israel and were among them, |
| 10:2 | 就甚懼怕；因為基遍是一座大城，如王城一般，比艾城更大，並且城內的人都是勇士。 They were very afraid, because Gibeon was a great city, like one of the royal cities, and because it was greater than Ai and all its men were mighty men. |
| 10:3 | 所以耶路撒冷王亞多尼洗德打發人去見希伯侖王何鹹、耶末王毗蘭、拉吉王雅非亞、和伊磯倫王底璧，說， So Adoni-zedek the king of Jerusalem sent word to Hoham the king of Hebron and Piram the king of Jarmuth and Japhia the king of Lachish and Debir the king of Eglon, saying, |
| 10:4 | 求你們上我這裏來幫助我，我們好攻打基遍，因為他們已經與約書亞和以色列人講和了。 Come up to me and help me, and let us strike Gibeon; for they have made peace with Joshua and the children of Israel. |
| 10:5 | 於是亞摩利人的五個王，就是耶路撒冷王、希伯侖王、耶末王、拉吉王、伊磯倫王，一同聚集，率領他們的眾軍上去，對著基遍安營，攻打基遍。 Therefore the five kings of the Amorites, the king of Jerusalem, the king of Hebron, the king of Jarmuth, the king of Lachish, and the king of Eglon, gathered together and went up, they and all their camps; and they camped against Gibeon and fought against it. |
| 10:6 | 基遍人就打發人往吉甲的營中去見約書亞，說，你不要袖手不顧你的仆人，求你速速上我們這裏來拯救我們，幫助我們，因為住山地亞摩利人的諸王，都聚集攻擊我們。 And the men of Gibeon sent word to Joshua at the camp at Gilgal, saying, Do not let your hand fail your servants. Come up to us quickly; and save us and help us, for all the kings of the Amorites who inhabit the hill country are gathered against us. |
| 10:7 | 於是約書亞和他一切兵丁，並大能的勇士，都從吉甲上去。 So Joshua went up from Gilgal, he and all the people of war with him and all the mighty men of valor. |
| 10:8 | 耶和華對約書亞說，不要怕他們；因為我已將他們交在你手裏，他們沒有一人能在你麵前站立得住。 And Jehovah said to Joshua, Do not be afraid of them, for I have given them into your hand. No man among them will stand before you. |
| 10:9 | 約書亞就終夜從吉甲上去，猛然臨到他們那裏。 So Joshua came upon them suddenly, for he journeyed from Gilgal all night long. |
| 10:10 | 耶和華使他們在以色列人麵前潰亂，在基遍大大的擊殺他們，沿著伯和侖的上坡路追趕他們，擊殺他們，直到亞西加和瑪基大。 And Jehovah threw them into a panic before Israel, and He struck them with a great stroke at Gibeon; and He pursued them on the way toward the ascent of Beth-horon; and He struck them as far as Azekah and Makkedah. |
| 10:11 | 他們在以色列人麵前逃跑，正在伯和侖下坡的時候，耶和華從天上降大冰雹在他們身上，直降到亞西加，打死他們。被冰雹打死的，比以色列人用刀殺死的還多。 And while they fled from before Israel, when they were on the descent of Beth-horon, Jehovah sent large stones upon them from heaven as far as Azekah, and they died. There were more who died because of the hailstones than the children of Israel slew with the sword. |
| 10:12 | 當耶和華將亞摩利人交付以色列人的日子，約書亞向耶和華禱告，在以色列人眼前說，日頭阿，你要停在基遍；月亮阿，你要止在亞雅侖穀。 Then Joshua spoke to Jehovah on the day when Jehovah delivered up the Amorites before the children of Israel; and he said in the sight of Israel, Sun, be still over Gibeon; And you, Moon, over the valley of Aijalon! |
| 10:13 | 於是日頭停留，月亮止住，直等國民向敵人報了仇。這事豈不是寫在雅煞珥書上麼？日頭在天當中停住，不急速下落，約有一整日。 And the sun was still, And the moon stayed, Until the nation avenged themselves of their enemies. Is it not written in the book of Jashar? And the sun stayed in the middle of the heavens, and it did not hurry to set for about a whole day. |
| 10:14 | 在這日以前，這日以後，耶和華聽人的禱告，沒有像這日的，是因耶和華為以色列爭戰。 And there was never a day like that day, before it or after it, when Jehovah listened to the voice of a man; for Jehovah fought for Israel. |
| 10:15 | 約書亞和他所帶領的以色列眾人回到吉甲的營中。 Then Joshua and all Israel with him returned to the camp at Gilgal. |
| 10:16 | 那五王逃跑，藏在瑪基大洞裏。 And these five kings fled and hid themselves in the cave at Makkedah. |
| 10:17 | 有人告訴約書亞說，那五王已經找到了，都藏在瑪基大洞裏。 And it was told to Joshua, saying, The five kings have been found, hidden in the cave at Makkedah. |
| 10:18 | 約書亞說，你們把幾塊大石頭輥到洞口，派人在那裏看守他們。 And Joshua said, Roll large stones over the mouth of the cave, and station men by it in order to keep them. |
| 10:19 | 你們卻不可停下來，要追趕你們的仇敵，從後麵擊殺他們；不要容他們進自己的城邑，因為耶和華你們的神已經把他們交在你們手裏。 But you, do not stay here; pursue after your enemies, and attack them from behind. Do not allow them to go to their cities, for Jehovah your God has given them into your hand. |
| 10:20 | 約書亞和以色列人大大的擊殺他們，直到將他們滅盡，但其中有些剩下的人，進了堅固的城；這事結束以後， And when Joshua and the children of Israel finished striking them with a very great stroke until they were consumed, though there were some survivors of them who survived and went into the fortified cities, |
| 10:21 | 眾百姓就安然回瑪基大營中，到約書亞那裏。沒有一人敢說話攻擊任何以色列人。 All the people returned to the camp, to Joshua at Makkedah, in peace. No one spoke against any of the children of Israel. |
| 10:22 | 約書亞說，打開洞口，將那五王從洞裏帶出來，領到我這裏。 Then Joshua said, Open the mouth of the cave, and bring those five kings out of the cave to me. |
| 10:23 | 眾人就這樣行，將那五王，就是耶路撒冷王、希伯侖王、耶末王、拉吉王、伊磯倫王，從洞裏帶出來，領到約書亞那裏。 And they did so; and they brought those kings out of the cave to him: the king of Jerusalem, the king of Hebron, the king of Jarmuth, the king of Lachish, and the king of Eglon. |
| 10:24 | 他們把那五王帶出來，領到約書亞那裏的時候，約書亞就召了以色列眾人來，對那些和他同去之兵丁的首領說，你們近前來，把腳踏在這些王的頸項上。他們就近前來，把腳踏在這些王的頸項上。 And when they brought out those five kings to Joshua, Joshua called for all the men of Israel; and he said to the chiefs of the men of war who went with him, Come near; put your feet upon the necks of these kings. And they came near and put their feet upon their necks. |
| 10:25 | 約書亞對他們說，你們不要懼怕，也不要驚惶；應當剛強壯膽，因為耶和華必這樣待你們所要攻打的一切仇敵。 And Joshua said to them, Do not be afraid or dismayed; be strong and take courage, for thus will Jehovah do to all your enemies against whom you fight. |
| 10:26 | 隨後約書亞將這五王殺死，掛在五棵樹上；他們就在樹上直掛到晚上。 And Joshua struck them after that and put them to death, and he hung them on five trees; and they hung upon the trees until evening. |
| 10:27 | 日頭要落的時候，約書亞一吩咐，人就把屍首從樹上取下來，丟在他們藏過的洞裏，把幾塊大石頭放在洞口，直存到今日。 And when the sun set, Joshua commanded, and they took them down from the trees and threw them into the cave where they had hidden; and they put large stones over the mouth of the cave, which remain to this very day. |
| 10:28 | 當日，約書亞奪了瑪基大，用刀擊殺城中的人和王；將其中一切人口盡行殺滅，沒有留下一個。他待瑪基大王，像從前待耶利哥王一樣。 And Joshua captured Makkedah on that day, and he struck it and its king with the edge of the sword. He utterly destroyed them and every soul that was in it; he left no survivors. And he did to the king of Makkedah as he had done to the king of Jericho. |
| 10:29 | 約書亞和他所帶領的以色列眾人從瑪基大往立拿去，攻打立拿。 Then Joshua and all Israel with him passed on from Makkedah to Libnah, and he fought with Libnah. |
| 10:30 | 耶和華將立拿和立拿的王也交在以色列人手裏。約書亞用刀攻擊這城，擊殺了城中的一切人口，沒有留下一個。他待立拿王，像從前待耶利哥王一樣。 And Jehovah delivered it also with its king into the hand of Israel. And he struck it with the edge of the sword, as well as every soul that was in it; he left no survivors in it. And he did to its king as he had done to the king of Jericho. |
| 10:31 | 約書亞和他所帶領的以色列眾人從立拿往拉吉去，對著拉吉安營，攻打這城。 Then Joshua and all Israel with him passed on from Libnah to Lachish, and he camped against it and fought against it. |
| 10:32 | 耶和華將拉吉交在以色列人的手裏。第二天約書亞就奪了拉吉，用刀攻擊這城，擊殺了城中的一切人口，是照他向立拿一切所行的。 And Jehovah delivered Lachish into the hand of Israel, and he captured it on the second day and struck it with the edge of the sword as well as every soul that was in it, just as he had done to Libnah. |
| 10:33 | 那時基色王荷蘭上來幫助拉吉，約書亞就把他和他的民都擊殺了，沒有留下一個。 Then Horam the king of Gezer came up to help Lachish, and Joshua struck him and his people, so that he left him no survivor. |
| 10:34 | 約書亞和他所帶領的以色列眾人從拉吉往伊磯倫去，對著伊磯倫安營，攻打這城。 Then Joshua and all Israel with him passed on from Lachish to Eglon, and they camped against it and fought against it. |
| 10:35 | 當日就奪了城，用刀攻擊那城；那日，約書亞將城中的一切人口盡行殺滅，是照他向拉吉一切所行的。 And they captured it on that day and struck it with the edge of the sword; and every soul that was in it he utterly destroyed on that day, just as he had done to Lachish. |
| 10:36 | 約書亞和他所帶領的以色列眾人從伊磯倫上希伯侖去，攻打這城， Then Joshua and all Israel with him went up from Eglon to Hebron, and they fought against it. |
| 10:37 | 就奪了希伯侖，用刀攻擊那城，擊殺那城的王，又攻擊屬希伯侖的諸城邑，擊殺那些城邑中的人口，沒有留下一個，是照他向伊磯倫所行的；他把城和城中的一切人口盡行毀滅。 And they captured it and struck it with the edge of the sword as well as its king and all its cities and every soul that was in it. He left no survivor, just as he had done to Eglon; but he utterly destroyed it and every soul that was in it. |
| 10:38 | 約書亞和他所帶領的以色列眾人回到底璧，攻打這城， Then Joshua and all Israel with him returned to Debir, and he fought against it. |
| 10:39 | 就奪了底璧和屬底璧的城邑，又擒獲底璧的王，用刀攻擊這些城，將城中的人口盡行殺滅，沒有留下一個。他待底璧和底璧王，像從前待希伯侖和立拿與立拿王一樣。 And he captured it and its king and all its cities; and they struck them with the edge of the sword and utterly destroyed every soul that was in it; he left no survivor. As he had done to Hebron, and as he had done to Libnah and its king, so he did to Debir and its king. |
| 10:40 | 這樣，約書亞擊殺全地的人，就是山地、南地、低陸、山坡的人，和那些地的諸王，沒有留下一個；他將凡有氣息的盡行殺滅，正如耶和華以色列的神所吩咐的。 Thus Joshua struck the whole land: the hill country and the Negev and the lowland and the slopes and all their kings; he left no survivor but utterly destroyed everything that breathed, as Jehovah the God of Israel had commanded. |
| 10:41 | 約書亞從加低斯巴尼亞攻擊到迦薩，又攻擊歌珊全地，直到基遍。 And Joshua struck them from Kadesh-barnea even unto Gaza, and all the land of Goshen even unto Gibeon. |
| 10:42 | 約書亞一次就殺敗了這些王，奪了他們的地，因為耶和華以色列的神為以色列爭戰。 Now all these kings and their lands Joshua took at one time, for Jehovah the God of Israel fought for Israel. |
| 10:43 | 於是約書亞和他所帶領的以色列眾人回到吉甲的營中。 Then Joshua and all Israel with him returned to the camp at Gilgal. |
