創世記-Genesis 第 22 章

22:1	這些事以後，神試驗亞伯拉罕，對他說，亞伯拉罕。他說，我在這裏。 Now after these things God tested Abraham and said to him, Abraham. And he said, Here I am.
22:2	神說，你帶著你的兒子，就是你獨生的兒子，你所愛的以撒，往摩利亞地去，在我所要指示你的山上，把他獻為燔祭。 And He said, Take now your son, your only son, whom you love, Isaac, and go to the land of Moriah and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I will tell you.
22:3	亞伯拉罕清早起來，備上驢，帶著兩個仆人和他兒子以撒，也劈好了燔祭的柴，就起身往神所指示他的地方去。 And Abraham rose early in the morning and saddled his donkey and took two of his young men with him and Isaac his son. And he split the wood for the burnt offering and rose up and went to the place of which God had told him.
22:4	到了第三日，亞伯拉罕舉目遠遠的看見那地方。 On the third day Abraham lifted up his eyes and saw the place from afar.
22:5	亞伯拉罕對他的仆人說，你們和驢在這裏等著，我與童子往那裏去敬拜，然後回到你們這裏來。 And Abraham said to his young men, Stay here with the donkey; and I and the boy will go over there, and we will worship and then return to you.
22:6	亞伯拉罕把燔祭的柴放在他兒子以撒身上，自己手裏拿著火與刀；於是二人同行。 And Abraham took the wood for the burnt offering and laid it upon Isaac his son. And he took in his hand the fire and the knife. And the two of them walked together.
22:7	以撒對他父親亞伯拉罕說，父親哪。亞伯拉罕說，我兒，我在這裏。以撒說，請看，火與柴都有了，但燔祭的羊羔在那裏？ And Isaac spoke to Abraham his father and said, My father! And he said, Here I am, my son. And he said, The fire and the wood are here, but where is the lamb for a burnt offering?
22:8	亞伯拉罕說，我兒，神必自己豫備作燔祭的羊羔。於是二人同行。 And Abraham said, God Himself will provide the lamb for a burnt offering, my son. So the two of them walked on together.
22:9	他們到了神所指示的地方，亞伯拉罕在那裏築壇，把柴擺好，就捆綁他的兒子以撒，放在壇的柴上。 And they came to the place of which God had told him. And Abraham built the altar there and laid the wood in order and bound Isaac his son and laid him on the altar on top of the wood.
22:10	亞伯拉罕伸手拿刀，要殺他的兒子。 And Abraham stretched out his hand and took the knife to slaughter his son.
22:11	耶和華的使者從天上呼叫他說，亞伯拉罕！亞伯拉罕！他說，我在這裏。 And the Angel of Jehovah called to him from the heavens and said, Abraham, Abraham. And he said, Here I am.
22:12	使者說，你不可在這童子身上下手，一點不可害他。現在我知道你是敬畏神的了，因為你沒有將你的兒子，就是你獨生的兒子，留下不給我。 And he said, Do not stretch out your hand upon the boy, nor do anything to him; for now I know that you fear God, since you have not withheld your son, your only son, from Me.
22:13	亞伯拉罕舉目觀看，不料，在他後麵有一隻公羊，兩角扣在樹叢中，亞伯拉罕就去取了那隻公羊來，獻為燔祭，代替他的兒子。 And Abraham lifted up his eyes and looked, and there behind him was a ram, caught in the thicket by its horns. And Abraham went and took the ram and offered it up for a burnt offering in place of his son.
22:14	亞伯拉罕給那地方起名叫耶和華以勒，直到今日人還說，在耶和華的山上必有豫備。 And Abraham called the name of that place Jehovah-jireh, as it is said to this day, On the mount of Jehovah it will be provided.
22:15	耶和華的使者第二次從天上呼叫亞伯拉罕，說， And the Angel of Jehovah called to Abraham a second time from the heavens
22:16	耶和華宣示說，你既行了這事，不留下你的兒子，就是你獨生的兒子，我指著自己起誓： And said, By Myself I have sworn, declares Jehovah: Because you have done this thing and have not withheld your son, your only son,
22:17	論福，我必賜福給你；論繁增，我必使你的後裔繁增，如同天上的星，海邊的沙；你的後裔必得著仇敵的城門； I will surely bless you and will greatly multiply your seed like the stars of the heavens and like the sand which is on the seashore; and your seed shall possess the gate of his enemies.
22:18	並且地上萬國，都必因你的後裔得福；因為你聽從了我的話。 And in your seed all the nations of the earth shall be blessed, because you have obeyed My voice.
22:19	於是亞伯拉罕回到他仆人那裏，他們一同起身往別是巴去，亞伯拉罕就住在別是巴。 So Abraham returned to his young men, and they rose up and went together to Beer-sheba. And Abraham dwelt in Beer-sheba.
22:20	這些事以後，有人告訴亞伯拉罕說，密迦給你兄弟拿鶴生了幾個兒子， And after these things it was told Abraham, saying, Milcah has now also borne children to your brother Nahor:
22:21	長子是烏斯，他的弟弟是布斯、亞蘭的父親基母利、 Uz his firstborn and Buz his brother and Kemuel the father of Aram
22:22	並基薛、哈瑣、必達、益拉、彼土利。 And Chesed and Hazo and Pildash and Jidlaph and Bethuel;
22:23	彼土利生利百加，這八個人都是密迦給亞伯拉罕的兄弟拿鶴生的。 And Bethuel begot Rebekah. These eight Milcah bore to Nahor, Abraham's brother.
22:24	拿鶴的妾名叫流瑪，生了提八、迦含、他轄和瑪迦。 And his concubine, whose name was Reumah, also bore Tebah and Gaham and Tahash and Maacah.
