撒母耳記下-2 Samuel 第 9 章

9:1	大衛問說，掃羅家還有剩下的人沒有？我要因約拿單的緣故，以恩慈待他。 And David said, Is there still anyone left of the house of Saul, that I may show kindness to him for Jonathan's sake?
9:2	掃羅家有一個仆人，名叫洗巴，有人叫他來見大衛，王問他說，你是洗巴麼？他說，仆人是。 Now there was a servant of the house of Saul, whose name was Ziba; and they called him to David. And the king said to him, Are you Ziba? And he said, I am your servant.
9:3	王說，掃羅家還有人沒有？我要以神的恩慈待他。洗巴對王說，還有約拿單的一個兒子，是兩腿殘廢的。 And the king said, Is there yet anyone at all of the house of Saul, that I may show the kindness of God to him? And Ziba said to the king, There is still a son of Jonathan; he is crippled in his feet.
9:4	王說，他在那裏？洗巴對王說，他在羅底巴，亞米利的兒子瑪吉家裏。 Then the king said to him, Where is he? And Ziba said to the king, He is just now in the house of Machir the son of Amiel in Lo-debar.
9:5	於是大衛王打發人去，從羅底巴亞米利的兒子瑪吉家裏把他接來。 And King David sent men and took him from the house of Machir the son of Amiel, from Lo-debar.
9:6	掃羅的孫子，約拿單的兒子米非波設來見大衛，麵伏於地叩拜。大衛說，米非波設。米非波設說，仆人在此。 And Mephibosheth the son of Jonathan, the son of Saul, came to David and fell on his face and paid homage. And David said, Mephibosheth. And he said, Your servant is here.
9:7	大衛說，你不要懼怕，我必因你父親約拿單的緣故，以恩慈待你，將你祖父掃羅一切的地都歸還你；你也可以常在我席上吃飯。 And David said to him, Do not be afraid, for I will surely show kindness to you for the sake of Jonathan your father; and I will restore to you all the land of your father Saul, and you will eat food at my table continually.
9:8	米非波設又叩拜，說，仆人算什麼，不過如死狗一般，竟蒙你這樣看顧！ And he paid him homage and said, What is your servant that you should look upon a dead dog like me?
9:9	王召了掃羅的仆人洗巴來，對他說，我已將原屬掃羅和他全家的一切產業，都賜給你主人的兒子了。 And the king called Ziba, Saul's attendant, and said to him, All that belongs to Saul and to all his house I give to your master's son.
9:10	你和你的眾子，並你的眾仆人，要為他耕種田地，把所產的拿來供他食用；你主人的兒子米非波設要常在我席上吃飯。洗巴有十五個兒子，二十個仆人。 And you shall work the land for him, you and your sons and your servants; and you shall bring in the produce that your master's son may have food to eat; and Mephibosheth, your master's son, will eat food continually at my table. Now Ziba had fifteen sons and twenty servants.
9:11	洗巴對王說，凡我主我王吩咐仆人的，仆人都必遵行。王又說，米非波設必在我席上吃飯，如同王的一個兒子。 Then Ziba said to the king, According to all that my lord the king has commanded his servant, so will your servant do. And Mephibosheth, said David, shall eat at my table like one of the king's sons.
9:12	米非波設有一個小兒子，名叫米迦。凡住在洗巴家裏的人都作了米非波設的仆人。 And Mephibosheth had a young son, whose name was Mica. And all who dwelt in the house of Ziba were servants to Mephibosheth.
9:13	於是米非波設住在耶路撒冷，因為他常在王的席上吃飯。他兩腿都是瘸的。 And Mephibosheth dwelt in Jerusalem because he ate at the king's table continually. And he was crippled in both his feet.
