曆代記下-2 Chronicles 第 8 章

8:1	所羅門建造耶和華的殿和自己的宮，共用了二十年，完畢以後， And at the end of the twenty years in which Solomon had built the house of Jehovah and his own house,
8:2	所羅門修築戶蘭送給他的那些城邑，使以色列人住在那裏。 He built the cities which Huram had given to him and settled the children of Israel there.
8:3	所羅門往哈馬瑣巴去，征服了那地方。 Then Solomon went to Hamath- zobah and overcame it.
8:4	所羅門建造曠野裏的達莫，又建造哈馬所有的積貨城； And he built Tadmor in the wilderness and all the storage cities which he built in Hamath.
8:5	又建造上伯和侖、下伯和侖作為堅固城，都有牆，有門，有閂； And he built upper Beth-horon and lower Beth-horon, fortified cities with walls, gates, and bars,
8:6	又建造巴拉和所有的積貨城，並一切屯車城和馬兵城，以及他在耶路撒冷、利巴嫩、和他治理的全地中所願建造的。 And Baalath and all the storage cities that Solomon had, even all the cities for the chariots, and the cities for the horsemen and all that Solomon desired to build in Jerusalem and in Lebanon and in all the land of his dominion.
8:7	至於所剩下，屬於赫人、亞摩利人、比利洗人、希未人、耶布斯人，不屬於以色列人的眾民， All the people who were left of the Hittites and the Amorites and the Perizzites and the Hivites and the Jebusites, who were not of Israel,
8:8	他們的子孫在他們之後餘留在那地，以色列人未曾將他們滅盡，所羅門就征召他們作服苦役的人，直到今日。 From their descendants who were left after them in the land, whom the children of Israel had not destroyed utterly, these Solomon levied as forced labor, as they are unto this day.
8:9	惟有以色列人，所羅門不使他們當奴仆為他作工，乃是作戰士，作他軍官的統領，和他的車兵長、馬兵長。 But Solomon did not make slaves of the children of Israel for his work, for they were the men of war and the officers over his captains and the officers over his chariots and his horsemen.
8:10	所羅門王有二百五十督工的官長，監管作工的人。 And these were the chief of the officers of King Solomon, two hundred fifty, who ruled over the people.
8:11	所羅門將法老的女兒帶出大衛城，上到為她建造的宮裏；因所羅門說，耶和華約櫃到過之處都是聖的，所以我的妻子不可住在以色列王大衛的宮裏。 Then Solomon brought up Pharaoh's daughter from the city of David into the house which he had built for her; for he said, My wife shall not dwell in the house of David the king of Israel, for the places where the Ark of Jehovah has entered are holy.
8:12	那時，所羅門在耶和華的壇上，就是在廊子前他所築的壇上，向耶和華獻燔祭； Then Solomon offered up burnt offerings to Jehovah on the altar of Jehovah which he had built before the portico,
8:13	又照著摩西的吩咐在安息日和月朔，並所定的節期，一年三次，就是除酵節、七七節、住棚節，獻每日所當獻的祭。 Even as required daily, offering them up according to the commandment of Moses, on the Sabbaths and on the new moons and on the appointed feasts three times in a year, at the Feast of Unleavened Bread and at the Feast of Weeks and at the Feast of Tabernac
8:14	所羅門照著他父親大衛所定的例，派定祭司事奉的班次，又派定利未人的職守，使他們按每日所當作的讚美耶和華，在祭司麵前供職；又派守門的按著班次看守各門，因為神人大衛是這樣吩咐的。 And according to the ordinance of David his father, he appointed the divisions of the priests for their service, and the Levites for their charges to praise and to minister before the priests even as required daily, and the gatekeepers by their divisions at every gate; for thus was the commandment of David the man of God.
8:15	王所吩咐眾祭司和利未人的，無論是辦任何事或掌管府庫，他們都不偏違。 And they did not turn aside from the commandment of the king concerning the priests and the Levites concerning any matter and concerning the treasuries.
8:16	所羅門一切的工，從耶和華殿立根基的日子，直到建成，都順利進行。這樣，耶和華的殿就完成了。 So all the work of Solomon was carried out, from the day of the foundation of the house of Jehovah even until its completion. Thus the house of Jehovah was finished.
8:17	那時，所羅門往以東地靠近海邊的以旬迦別和以祿去。 Then Solomon went to Ezion-geber and to Eloth on the shore of the sea, in the land of Edom.
8:18	戶蘭差遣他的仆人，將船隻和熟悉泛海的仆人送到所羅門那裏；他們同著所羅門的仆人去了俄斐，從那裏得了四百五十他連得金子，運到所羅門王那裏。 And Huram sent him ships by his servants, and servants who knew the sea; and they went with the servants of Solomon to Ophir and took four hundred fifty talents of gold from there and brought it to King Solomon.
