曆代記下-2 Chronicles 第 11 章

11:1	羅波安來到耶路撒冷，招聚猶大家和便雅憫家的人，共十八萬，都是挑選的戰士，要與以色列人爭戰，好使國歸回羅波安。 And when Rehoboam came to Jerusalem, he gathered the house of Judah and Benjamin, one hundred eighty thousand choice warriors, to wage war with Israel in order to return the kingdom to Rehoboam.
11:2	但耶和華的話臨到神人示瑪雅，說， But the word of Jehovah came to Shemaiah the man of God, saying,
11:3	你去告訴所羅門的兒子猶大王羅波安，和在猶大、便雅憫的以色列眾人，說， Speak to Rehoboam the son of Solomon, the king of Judah, and to all Israel in Judah and Benjamin, saying,
11:4	耶和華如此說，你們不可上去與你們的弟兄爭戰。各歸各家去罷；因為這事是出於我。眾人就聽從耶和華的話歸回，不去與耶羅波安爭戰。 Thus says Jehovah, You shall not go up and wage war with your brothers. Every man return to his house; for this matter is of Me. So they listened to the words of Jehovah and returned from going against Jeroboam.
11:5	羅波安住在耶路撒冷，在猶大地修築城邑作為保障。 And Rehoboam dwelt in Jerusalem and built cities for defense in Judah.
11:6	他修築了伯利恒、以坦、提哥亞、 He built Bethlehem and Etam and Tekoa
11:7	伯夙、梭哥、亞杜蘭、 And Beth-zur and Soco and Adullam
11:8	迦特、瑪利沙、西弗、 And Gath and Mareshah and Ziph
11:9	亞多萊音、拉吉、亞西加、 And Adoraim and Lachish and Azekah
11:10	瑣拉、亞雅侖、希伯侖，這些都是猶大和便雅憫的堅固城。 And Zorah and Aijalon and Hebron, which are in Judah and in Benjamin, fortified cities.
11:11	羅波安又堅固各處的保障，在其中安置軍長，又貯備糧食、油和酒。 And he strengthened the fortresses and put commanders in them, as well as stores of food and oil and wine,
11:12	他在各城裏豫備盾牌和槍，且使城極其堅固。猶大和便雅憫都歸屬了他。 And in every city, shields and spears; and he made them exceedingly strong. And Judah and Benjamin belonged to him.
11:13	全以色列的祭司和利未人都從四境來歸從羅波安。 And the priests and the Levites who had been throughout all Israel presented themselves to him out of all their territory;
11:14	利未人撇下他們的郊野和產業，來到猶大與耶路撒冷，是因耶羅波安和他的兒子棄絕他們，不許他們供職作耶和華的祭司。 For the Levites abandoned their pasture lands and their property and went to Judah and Jerusalem because Jeroboam and his sons cast them out so that they could not function as priests to Jehovah.
11:15	耶羅波安為邱壇、山羊、並他所鑄造的牛犢，自行設立祭司。 And he appointed priests for himself for the high places and for the goats and the calves that he had made.
11:16	以色列各支派中，凡立定心意尋求耶和華以色列神的，都隨從利未人，來到耶路撒冷向耶和華他們列祖的神獻祭。 And those from all the tribes of Israel who set their hearts to seek Jehovah the God of Israel came after them to Jerusalem to sacrifice to Jehovah, the God of their fathers.
11:17	這樣，他們就堅固了猶大國，使所羅門的兒子羅波安強盛三年，因為他們三年之間遵行大衛和所羅門的道路。 And they strengthened the kingdom of Judah and supported Rehoboam the son of Solomon for three years, for they walked in the way of David and Solomon for three years.
11:18	羅波安娶大衛兒子耶利摩的女兒瑪哈拉為妻，她也就是耶西的兒子以利押的女兒亞比孩的女兒。 And Rehoboam took to himself for his wife Mahalath the daughter of Jerimoth the son of David and of Abihail the daughter of Eliab the son of Jesse.
11:19	她給羅波安生了幾個兒子，就是耶烏施、示瑪利雅、撒罕。 And she bore him sons: Jeush and Shemariah and Zaham.
11:20	羅波安後來又娶押沙龍的女兒瑪迦；瑪迦給羅波安生了亞比雅、亞太、細撒、示羅密。 And after her he took Maacah the daughter of Absalom; and she bore him Abijah and Attai and Ziza and Shelomith.
11:21	羅波安愛押沙龍的女兒瑪迦，勝過所有的妻妾。(他娶了十八個妻子和六十個妾，生了二十八個兒子和六十個女兒。) And Rehoboam loved Maacah the daughter of Absalom above all his wives and his concubines. (For he had taken eighteen wives and sixty concubines and begot twenty-eight sons and sixty daughters.)
11:22	羅波安立瑪迦的兒子亞比雅為太子，在他弟兄中作領袖，因為想要立他接續作王。 And Rehoboam appointed Abijah the son of Maacah to be chief prince, the leader among his brothers; for he intended to make him king.
11:23	羅波安辦事精明，使他眾子分散在猶大和便雅憫全地各堅固城裏，又賜他們許多糧食，為他們多尋妻子。 And he acted wisely and dispersed all his sons throughout all the lands of Judah and Benjamin, to all the fortified cities; and he gave them food in abundance and sought many wives for them.
