創世記-Genesis 第 45 章

45:1	約瑟在左右侍立的人麵前情不自禁，大聲吩咐說，各人都要離開我出去！約瑟和他弟兄們相認的時候，並沒有一個人站在他身邊。 Then Joseph could not control himself before all those who attended him; and he cried out, Have everyone go out from me. So there was no one standing with him when Joseph made himself known to his brothers.
45:2	他就放聲大哭，埃及人和法老家中的人都聽見了。 And he wept so loudly that the Egyptians heard it, and the household of Pharaoh heard it.
45:3	約瑟對他弟兄們說，我是約瑟；我的父親還健在麼？他弟兄們不能回答，因為在他麵前都甚驚惶。 And Joseph said to his brothers, I am Joseph! Is my father still alive? But his brothers could not answer him, so troubled were they at his presence.
45:4	約瑟又對他弟兄們說，請你們近前到我這裏來。他們就近前來。他說，我是你們的弟兄約瑟，就是你們所賣到埃及的。 And Joseph said to his brothers, Please come closer to me. And they came closer. And he said, I am your brother Joseph, whom you sold into Egypt.
45:5	現在，不要因為你們把我賣到這裏，自憂自恨。這是神差我在你們以先來，為要保全生命。 And now do not be grieved or angry with yourselves because you sold me here, for God sent me before you to preserve life.
45:6	現在這地的饑荒已經二年了，並且還有五年不能耕種，不能收成。 For the famine has been in the midst of the land these two years, and there are still five years in which there will be neither plowing nor harvest.
45:7	神差我在你們以先來，為要給你們存留餘種在地上，又要大施拯救，使你們存活。 And God sent me before you to preserve for you a remnant in the earth and to keep you alive by a great deliverance.
45:8	這樣看來，差我到這裏來的不是你們，乃是神。祂又立我作法老的父，作他全家的主，並埃及全地的統治者。 So now it was not you who sent me here, but God; and He has made me a father to Pharaoh and lord of all his house and ruler over all the land of Egypt.
45:9	你們要趕緊上到我父親那裏，對他說，你的兒子約瑟這樣說：神使我作全埃及的主，請你下到我這裏來，不要耽延。 Hurry and go up to my father, and say to him, Thus says your son Joseph, God has made me lord of all Egypt; come down to me; do not delay.
45:10	你和你的兒子、孫子，連牛群、羊群，並一切所有的，都可以住在歌珊地，與我相近。 And you shall dwell in the land of Goshen and be near to me, you and your children and your children's children and your flocks and your herds and all that you have.
45:11	我要在那裏奉養你；因為還有五年的饑荒，免得你和你的眷屬，並一切所有的，都窮乏了。 And there I will sustain you-for there are still five years of famine to come-so that you and your household and all that you have do not become impoverished.
45:12	況且你們的眼和我弟弟便雅憫的眼都看見，是我親口對你們說話。 And now your eyes see, and the eyes of my brother Benjamin see, that it is my own mouth that speaks to you.
45:13	你們也要將我在埃及一切的榮耀，和你們所看見一切的事，都告訴我父親，又要趕緊將我父親搬到這裏來。 And you must tell my father of all my glory in Egypt and of all that you have seen, and you must hurry and bring my father down here.
45:14	於是約瑟伏在他弟弟便雅憫的頸項上哭，便雅憫也在他的頸項上哭。 And he fell upon his brother Benjamin's neck and wept, and Benjamin wept upon his neck.
45:15	他又與眾弟兄親嘴，抱著他們哭，隨後他弟兄們就和他說話。 And he kissed all his brothers and wept upon them, and after that his brothers talked with him.
45:16	這風聲傳到法老的宮裏，說，約瑟的弟兄們來了。法老和他的臣仆都很喜歡。 And when the report was heard in Pharaoh's house, saying, Joseph's brothers have come, it was pleasing to Pharaoh and to his servants.
45:17	法老對約瑟說，你吩咐你的弟兄們說，你們要這樣行：把馱子抬在牲口上，起程往迦南地去。 And Pharaoh said to Joseph, Say to your brothers, Do this: Load your beasts, and depart; go to the land of Canaan;
45:18	將你們的父親和你們的眷屬，都搬到我這裏來，我要把埃及最好的地賜給你們，你們也要吃這地肥美的出產。 And take your father and your households, and come to me; and I will give you the best of the land of Egypt, and you will eat the fat of the land.
45:19	現在我吩咐你們要這樣行：從埃及地帶著車輛去，接你們的孩子和妻子，並把你們的父親載來。 And you are commanded, Do this: Take wagons out of the land of Egypt for your little ones and for your wives; and bring your father, and come.
45:20	你們眼中不要顧惜你們的物件，因為埃及全地的美物都是你們的。 And do not be concerned for your possessions, for the best of all the land of Egypt is yours.
45:21	以色列的兒子們就如此行。約瑟照著法老的吩咐給他們車輛，和路上用的食物。 And the sons of Israel did so, and Joseph gave them wagons according to the command of Pharaoh and gave them provisions for the way.
45:22	又給他們各人一套衣服，惟獨給便雅憫三百錠銀子，五套衣服； To each of them he gave changes of garments; but to Benjamin he gave three hundred pieces of silver and five changes of garments.
45:23	送給他父親公驢十匹，馱著埃及的美物；母驢十匹，馱著穀物、餅、和其他食物，為他父親路上用。 And he sent to his father the following: ten donkeys loaded with the best of Egypt, and ten female donkeys loaded with grain and bread and provision for his father on the way.
45:24	於是約瑟打發他弟兄們回去；他們走的時候，約瑟對他們說，你們在路上不要相爭。 So he sent his brothers away; and as they departed, he said to them, Do not quarrel on the way.
45:25	他們從埃及上去，來到迦南地，他們的父親雅各那裏， So they went up out of Egypt and came to the land of Canaan to Jacob their father.
45:26	告訴他說，約瑟還在，並且作了埃及全地的統治者。雅各心裏麻木，因為不信他們。 And they told him, saying, Joseph is still alive, and he is ruler over all the land of Egypt. And his heart became numb, for he did not believe them.
45:27	他們便將約瑟對他們說的一切話，都告訴了他；他們父親雅各又看見約瑟打發來接他的車輛，靈就蘇醒了。 And they told him all the words of Joseph, which he had said to them; and when he saw the wagons which Joseph had sent to carry him, the spirit of Jacob their father revived.
45:28	以色列說，罷了！罷了！我的兒子約瑟還在，我要趁著未死以先，去見他一麵。 And Israel said, It is enough. Joseph my son is still alive. I will go and see him before I die.
