| 箴言-Proverbs 第 31 章 |
| 31:1 | 利慕伊勒王的言語，是他母親教訓他的諭言： The words of King Lemuel. The oracle which his mother taught him. |
| 31:2 | 我兒阿，我腹中生的兒阿，我許願所得的兒阿！我當說什麼呢？ What, my son? and what, O son of my womb? And what, O son of my vows? |
| 31:3 | 不要將你的精力給婦女，也不要有那使君王毀滅的行徑。 Do not give your strength to women, Nor your ways to that which destroys kings. |
| 31:4 | 利慕伊勒阿，君王不可喝淡酒，絕對不可；首領也不可說，濃酒在那裏？ It is not for kings, O Lemuel, it is not for kings to drink wine; Nor for princes to say, Where is strong drink? |
| 31:5 | 恐怕喝了就忘記所立的律例，顛倒一切困苦人的公理。 Lest they drink and forget what is decreed, And pervert the rights of all the afflicted. |
| 31:6 | 可以把濃酒給將亡的人喝，把淡酒給魂裏愁苦的人喝， Give strong drink rather to one who is perishing, And wine to the bitter in soul; |
| 31:7 | 讓他喝了就忘記他的貧窮，不再記念他的苦惱。 Let him drink and forget his poverty, And remember his misery no more. |
| 31:8 | 你當為啞吧開口，為一切將過去的人伸冤。 Open your mouth for the dumb, And for the rights of all those who are passing away. |
| 31:9 | 你當開口按公義審判，為困苦和窮乏人秉持公理。 Open your mouth; judge righteously, And minister justice to the poor and needy. |
| 31:10 | 才德的婦人誰能得著呢？她的價值遠勝過珠寶。 Who can find a worthy woman? For her price is far above jewels. |
| 31:11 | 她丈夫心裏倚靠她，必不缺少利益。 The heart of her husband trusts in her, And he will have no lack of gain. |
| 31:12 | 她一生的日子使丈夫有益無損。 She does him good and not evil All the days of her life. |
| 31:13 | 她尋找羊毛和麻，樂意親手作工。 She seeks wool and flax, And delights to work with her hands. |
| 31:14 | 她好像商船從遠方運糧來， She is like the merchant ships; She brings her food from afar. |
| 31:15 | 天還黑她就起來，把食物分給家中的人，將當作的工分派婢女。 She rises also while it is still night And gives food to her household, And their task to her serving girls. |
| 31:16 | 她想得田地就買來；用手所得的成果，栽種葡萄園。 She considers a field and buys it; With the fruit of her hands she plants a vineyard. |
| 31:17 | 她以能力束腰，使膀臂有力。 She girds her loins with strength And makes strong her arms. |
| 31:18 | 她檢試自作的商品，確定都是好的；她的燈終夜不滅。 She samples her merchandise to be sure it is good; Her lamp does not go out by night. |
| 31:19 | 她手拿撚線竿，手握紡線錘。 She lays her hands to the distaff, And her hands hold on to the spindle. |
| 31:20 | 她張手賙濟困苦人，伸手幫補窮乏人。 She stretches out her hand to the afflicted, And she reaches out her hands to the needy. |
| 31:21 | 她不因下雪為家裏的人擔心，因為全家都穿著朱紅衣服。 She does not fear for her household when it snows, For all her household are clothed with scarlet. |
| 31:22 | 她為自己製作毯子；她的衣服是細麻和紫色布作的。 She makes coverings for herself; Her clothing is fine linen and purple. |
| 31:23 | 她丈夫在城門口與本地的長老同坐，為眾人所認識。 Her husband is known in the gates, When he sits among the elders of the land. |
| 31:24 | 她作細麻布衣裳出賣，又將腰帶供給商家。 She makes linen garments and sells them And delivers girdles to the merchant. |
| 31:25 | 能力和威儀是她的衣服，她想到日後的景況就喜笑。 Strength and dignity are her clothing, And she happily looks forward to the time to come. |
| 31:26 | 她開口就發智慧，她舌上有慈愛的法則。 She opens her mouth with wisdom, And the law of kindness is on her tongue. |
| 31:27 | 她觀察家務，並不吃閑飯。 She watches closely over the ways of her household And does not eat the bread of idleness. |
| 31:28 | 她的兒女起來稱她有福；她的丈夫也稱讚她，說， Her children rise up and call her blessed; Her husband also, and he praises her, saying: |
| 31:29 | 行事有才德的女子很多，惟獨你超過眾人。 Many daughters have done worthily, But you surpass them all. |
| 31:30 | 豔麗是虛假的，美容是虛浮的；惟敬畏耶和華的婦女，必得稱讚。 Grace is deceitful, and beauty is vain; But a woman who fears Jehovah, she will be praised. |
| 31:31 | 願她得著親手操勞的果效，願她的工作使她在城門口得稱讚。 Give her of the fruit of her hands, And let her works praise her in the gates. |
