出埃及記-Exodus 第 24 章

24:1	耶和華對摩西說，你和亞倫、拿答和亞比戶，並以色列長老中的七十人，都要上到耶和華這裏來，遠遠的敬拜。 Then He said to Moses, Come up to Jehovah, you and Aaron, Nadab and Abihu, and seventy of the elders of Israel; and worship at a distance.
24:2	惟獨摩西可以親近耶和華，他們卻不可親近；百姓也不可和他一同上來。 And Moses alone shall come near to Jehovah, but they shall not come near, nor shall the people come up with him.
24:3	摩西來將耶和華一切的話語、典章，都述說與百姓聽；眾百姓齊聲回答說，凡耶和華所說的話，我們必要行。 And Moses came and told the people all the words of Jehovah and all the ordinances; and all the people answered with one voice and said, All the words which Jehovah has spoken we will do.
24:4	摩西將耶和華的話都寫下；他清早起來，在山下築了一座壇，並按以色列十二支派，立了十二根柱子； And Moses wrote down all the words of Jehovah, and he rose up early in the morning and built an altar at the base of the mountain and twelve pillars for the twelve tribes of Israel.
24:5	又打發以色列人中的少年人去獻燔祭，又向耶和華獻牛為平安祭。 And he sent young men of the children of Israel, who offered burnt offerings and sacrificed peace offerings of bulls to Jehovah.
24:6	摩西將血一半盛在盆中，一半灑在壇上。 And Moses took half of the blood and put it in basins, and half of the blood he sprinkled on the altar.
24:7	又將約書念給百姓聽；他們說，凡耶和華所說的，我們必要行，也必聽從。 And he took the book of the covenant and read it in the hearing of the people; and they said, All that Jehovah has spoken we will do, and we will be obedient.
24:8	摩西將血灑在百姓身上，說，看哪，這是耶和華按這一切話與你們所立之約的血。 So Moses took the blood and sprinkled it on the people and said, Here is the blood of the covenant, which Jehovah has made with you in accordance with all these words.
24:9	隨後摩西和亞倫、拿答和亞比戶，並以色列長老中的七十人，都上了山。 Then Moses and Aaron, Nadab and Abihu, and seventy of the elders of Israel went up.
24:10	他們看見以色列的神，祂腳下仿佛有平鋪的藍寶石，像天本身一樣明淨。 And they saw the God of Israel, and under His feet there was something like a paved work of sapphire, even like heaven itself for clearness.
24:11	祂不伸手加害以色列人的尊貴者。他們觀看神，並且又吃又喝。 And He did not stretch out His hand upon the nobles of the children of Israel. And they beheld God and ate and drank.
24:12	耶和華對摩西說，你上山頂到我這裏來，留在這裏；我要將石版，版上有我所寫的律法和誡命，賜給你，使你可以教導百姓。 And Jehovah said to Moses, Come up to Me at the top of the mountain, and be there; and I will give you the tablets of stone with the law and the commandment, which I have written for their instruction.
24:13	摩西和他的幫手約書亞起來；摩西上神的山去。 And Moses rose up with Joshua his attendant, and Moses went up to the top of the mountain of God.
24:14	摩西對長老說，你們在這裏等著，等到我們回來。有亞倫、戶珥與你們同在；凡有爭訟的，可以就近他們去。 And he had said to the elders, Wait here for us until we return to you. Both Aaron and Hur are here with you; whoever has a cause, let him come near to them.
24:15	摩西上山，有雲彩把山遮蓋。 And Moses went up to the top of the mountain, and the cloud covered the mountain.
24:16	耶和華的榮耀停在西乃山上；雲彩遮蓋山六天，第七天祂從雲中呼召摩西。 And the glory of Jehovah settled on Mount Sinai, and the cloud covered it six days; and on the seventh day He called to Moses out of the midst of the cloud.
24:17	耶和華的榮耀在山頂上，在以色列人眼前，顯出來的樣子好像烈火。 And the appearance of the glory of Jehovah was like consuming fire on the top of the mountain to the eyes of the children of Israel.
24:18	摩西進入雲中上了山，在山上四十晝四十夜。 And Moses entered into the midst of the cloud and went up on the mountain; and Moses was on the mountain forty days and forty nights.
