耶利米書-Jeremiah 第 35 章

35:1	當猶大王約西亞之子約雅敬的日子，從耶和華有話臨到耶利米，說， The word which came to Jeremiah from Jehovah in the days of Jehoiakim the son of Josiah, the king of Judah, saying,
35:2	你去見利甲族的人，和他們說話，領他們進入耶和華殿的一間屋子，給他們酒喝。 Go to the house of the Rechabites and speak with them and bring them to the house of Jehovah, into one of the chambers, and give them wine to drink.
35:3	我就將哈巴洗尼雅的孫子，雅利米雅的兒子雅撒尼亞，和他弟兄，並他眾子，以及利甲全族的人， So I took Jaazaniah the son of Jeremiah, the son of Habazziniah, and his brothers and all his sons and the whole house of the Rechabites,
35:4	領到耶和華的殿，進入神人伊基大利的兒子哈難眾子的屋子；那屋子在首領的屋子旁邊，在沙龍之子守門的瑪西雅屋子以上。 And I brought them to the house of Jehovah, into the chamber of the sons of Hanan the son of Igdaliah, the man of God, which was near the chamber of the princes, which was above the chamber of Maaseiah the son of Shallum, the keeper of the threshold.
35:5	我在利甲族人麵前設擺盛滿酒的大小杯子，對他們說，請喝酒。 And I set before the members of the house of the Rechabites pitchers full of wine and cups; and I said to them, Drink wine.
35:6	他們卻說，我們不喝酒；因為我們先祖利甲的兒子約拿達曾吩咐我們說，你們與你們的子孫，永不可喝酒。 But they said, We will drink no wine, for Jonadab the son of Rechab, our father, commanded us, saying, You shall not drink wine, you and your sons, forever.
35:7	也不可蓋房、撒種、栽種或擁有葡萄園；但你們一生要住帳棚，使你們在寄居之地，得以存活許多年日。 And you shall not build a house, and you shall not sow seed, and you shall not plant a vineyard or have one; but you shall dwell in tents all your days, that you may live many days on the land where you are sojourning.
35:8	凡我們先祖利甲的兒子約拿達所吩咐我們的話，我們都聽從了；我們和我們的妻子兒女，一生都不喝酒， And we have listened to the voice of Jonadab the son of Rechab, our father, to all that he commanded us: to drink no wine all our days, we, our wives, our sons, and our daughters,
35:9	也不蓋房居住；也沒有葡萄園、田地和種子。 And not to build houses for us to dwell in; neither do we have a vineyard or a field or seed.
35:10	但我們住帳棚，聽從我們先祖約拿達的話，照他所吩咐我們的一切去行。 But we have dwelt in tents and have listened to and done according to all that Jonadab our father commanded us.
35:11	巴比倫王尼布甲尼撒上來攻打這地，我們就說，來罷，我們要從迦勒底的軍隊和亞蘭的軍隊麵前，逃到耶路撒冷去；這樣，我們才住在耶路撒冷。 But when Nebuchadrezzar the king of Babylon came up against the land we said, Come and let us go to Jerusalem from before the army of the Chaldeans and from before the army of the Syrians. So we are dwelling in Jerusalem.
35:12	耶和華的話臨到耶利米，說， Then the word of Jehovah came to Jeremiah, saying,
35:13	萬軍之耶和華以色列的神如此說，你去對猶大人和耶路撒冷的居民說，耶和華說，你們不受教誨，不聽從我的話麼？ Thus says Jehovah of hosts, the God of Israel, Go and say to the men of Judah and to the inhabitants of Jerusalem, Will you not receive instruction by listening to My words? declares Jehovah.
35:14	利甲的兒子約拿達所吩咐他子孫不可喝酒的話，他們已經遵行，直到今日也不喝酒，因為他們聽從先祖的吩咐。但我從早起來對你們說話，你們卻不聽從我。 The words of Jonadab the son of Rechab, by which he commanded his sons to drink no wine, have been established, and they have drunk no wine unto this day, for they have obeyed the command of their father. But I have spoken to you, rising up early and speaking, yet you have not listened to Me.
35:15	我從早起來差遣我的仆人眾申言者到你們那裏去，說，你們各人當回轉，離開惡的行徑，改正行為，不隨從事奉別神，就必住在我所賜給你們和你們列祖的地上；隻是你們沒有側耳而聽，也沒有聽從我。 I have also sent to you all My servants the prophets, rising up early and sending them, saying, Turn now every one from his evil way, and amend your deeds, and do not go after other gods to serve them; and you will dwell in the land which I gave to you and to your fathers; but you did not incline your ear or listen to Me.
35:16	利甲的兒子約拿達的子孫，能遵行先祖所吩咐他們的命令，這百姓卻沒有聽從我。 But the sons of Jonadab the son of Rechab have established the commandment of their father, which he commanded them, yet this people have not listened to Me.
35:17	因此，耶和華萬軍之神，以色列的神如此說，我要使我向猶大人和耶路撒冷所有居民所說的一切災禍臨到他們；因為我對他們說話，他們沒有聽從；我呼喚他們，他們沒有答應。 Therefore thus says Jehovah the God of hosts, the God of Israel: I am about to bring on Judah and on all the inhabitants of Jerusalem all the evil which I have spoken against them; because I spoke to them, but they did not listen; and I called to them, but they did not answer.
35:18	耶利米對利甲族的人說，萬軍之耶和華以色列的神如此說，因你們聽從你們先祖約拿達的吩咐，謹守他的一切命令，照他所吩咐你們的一切去行； But to the house of the Rechabites Jeremiah said, Thus says Jehovah of hosts, the God of Israel, Because you have listened to the commandment of Jonadab your father and have kept all his commandments and have done according to all that he commanded you;
35:19	所以萬軍之耶和華以色列的神如此說，利甲的兒子約拿達必永不缺人侍立在我麵前。 Therefore thus says Jehovah of hosts, the God of Israel, Jonadab the son of Rechab will never lack a man to stand before Me \caps0 2forever.
