馬太福音-Matthew 第 15 章

15:1那時，有法利賽人和經學家從耶路撒冷來到耶穌跟前，說，
Then some Pharisees and scribes came to Jesus from Jerusalem, saying,
15:2你的門徒為什麼違犯古人的傳統？因為他們吃飯的時候不洗手。
Why do Your disciples transgress the tradition of the elders? For they do not wash their hands when they eat bread.
15:3祂就回答他們說，你們為什麼因著你們的傳統，違犯神的誡命？
And He answered and said to them, Why do you also transgress the commandment of God because of your tradition?
15:4原來神說，“當孝敬父母，”又說，“咒罵父母的，要被處死。”
For God said, "Honor your father and your mother,'' and, "He who speaks evil of father or mother, let him be put to death.''
15:5你們倒說，無論誰對父母說，我所當供養你的，已經作了禮物，
But you say, Whoever says to his father or his mother, Whatever you would have been profited by me is now a gift to God,
15:6他就可以不孝敬父母。這就是你們因著你們的傳統，使神的話失去效力和權柄。
Shall by no means honor his father or his mother; and you have deprived the word of God of its authority because of your tradition.
15:7假冒為善的人哪，以賽亞指著你們所申言的是對的；他說，
Hypocrites! Well has Isaiah prophesied concerning you, saying,
15:8“這百姓用嘴唇尊敬我，心卻遠離我；
"This people honors Me with their lips, but their heart stays far away from Me;
15:9他們敬拜我也是徒然，因為他們將人的吩咐當作教訓教導人。”
But in vain do they worship Me, teaching as teachings the commandments of men.''
15:10於是耶穌叫了群眾來，對他們說，你們要聽，也要領悟：
And He called the crowd to Him and said to them, Hear and understand:
15:11入口的不能汙穢人，出口的乃能汙穢人。
It is not that which enters into the mouth that defiles the man; but that which proceeds out of the mouth, this defiles the man.
15:12當時，門徒進前來，對祂說，法利賽人聽見這話，被絆跌了，你知道麼？
Then the disciples came and said to Him, Do You know that the Pharisees were stumbled when they heard this word?
15:13祂就回答說，凡不是我天父所栽種的植物，必要連根拔出來。
And He answered and said, Every plant which My heavenly Father has not planted shall be rooted up.
15:14任憑他們吧，他們是瞎子的瞎眼領路者；若是瞎子領瞎子，兩個都要掉在坑裏。
Let them be. They are blind guides of the blind; and if a blind man guides a blind man, both will fall into a pit.
15:15彼得就回答祂說，請給我們講講這比喻。
And Peter answered and said to Him, Explain this parable to us.
15:16祂就說，連你們到如今還不領悟麼？
And He said, Are you also still without understanding?
15:17豈不知凡入口的，是進到肚腹，又排泄到茅廁麼？
Do you not understand that everything that goes into the mouth passes into the stomach and is expelled into the drain?
15:18惟獨出口的，是從心裏發出來的，那才汙穢人。
But the things which proceed out of the mouth come out of the heart, and those defile the man.
15:19因為從心裏發出惡念、凶殺、奸淫、淫亂、偷竊、假見證和謗讟，
For out of the heart come evil reasonings, murders, adulteries, fornications, thefts, false witnessings, blasphemies.
15:20這些都是汙穢人的；至於不洗手吃飯，卻不汙穢人。
These are the things which defile the man, but eating with unwashed hands does not defile the man.
15:21耶穌離開那裏，退到推羅、西頓的境內去。
And Jesus went from there and withdrew into the parts of Tyre and Sidon.
15:22看哪，有一個迦南婦人從那地區出來，喊著說，主啊，大衛的子孫，可憐我！我女兒被鬼附得很苦。
And behold, a Canaanite woman came out from those borders and cried out, saying, Have mercy on me, Lord, Son of David! My daughter suffers terribly from demon possession.
15:23耶穌卻一言不答。門徒就進前來，求祂說，請打發她走吧，因為她在我們後麵直喊。
But He did not answer her a word. And His disciples came and implored Him, saying, Send her away, for she is crying out after us.
15:24耶穌回答說，我奉差遣，不過是到以色列家迷失的羊那裏去。
But He answered and said, I was not sent except to the lost sheep of the house of Israel.
15:25那婦人來拜祂，說，主啊，幫助我！
But she came and worshipped Him, saying, Lord, help me!
15:26祂回答說，不好拿兒女的餅丟給小狗。
But He answered and said, It is not good to take the children's bread and throw it to the little dogs.
15:27婦人說，主啊，是的，就是小狗也吃主人桌子上掉下來的碎渣。
And she said, Yes, Lord, for even the little dogs eat of the crumbs which fall from their masters' table.
15:28於是耶穌回答她說，婦人，你的信心真大！照你所願的給你成全吧。從那時候，她的女兒就得了醫治。
Then Jesus answered and said to her, O woman, great is your faith! Be it done to you as you wish. And her daughter was healed from that hour.
15:29耶穌遂離開那裏，來到靠近加利利的海邊，就上山，在那裏坐下。
And Jesus departed from there and came beside the Sea of Galilee; and He went up to the mountain and sat there.
15:30好多群眾到祂跟前來，帶著瘸子、瞎子、殘廢的、啞吧和好些別種病人，都放在祂的腳前，祂就治好了他們，
And great crowds came to Him, having with them the lame, the blind, the crippled, the dumb, and many other sick ones; and they laid them at His feet, and He healed them,
15:31以致群眾都希奇，因看見啞吧說話，殘廢的痊愈，瘸子行走，瞎子看見；他們就榮耀以色列的神。
So that the crowd marveled, because they saw the dumb speaking, the crippled healthy and the lame walking, and the blind seeing. And they glorified the God of Israel.
15:32耶穌叫祂的門徒來，說，我對這群眾動了慈心，因為他們同我在一起已經三天，也沒有什麼吃的了。我不願意叫他們餓著散去，恐怕他們在路上困乏。
And Jesus called His disciples to Him and said, I am moved with compassion for the crowd, because for three days now they have remained with Me and they do not have anything to eat. And I am not willing to send them away hungry, lest they faint on the way.
15:33門徒就對祂說，我們在這曠野，那裏有這麼多的餅，叫這麼多的群眾吃飽？
And the disciples said to Him, Where can we get so many loaves in this desolate place to satisfy so great a crowd?
15:34耶穌對他們說，你們有多少餅？他們說，七個，和幾條小魚。
And Jesus said to them, How many loaves do you have? And they said, Seven, and a few small fish.
15:35祂就吩咐群眾坐在地上，
And after He commanded the crowd to recline on the ground,
15:36拿著這七個餅和幾條魚，祝謝了，擘開，遞給門徒，門徒又遞給群眾。
He took the seven loaves and the fish, and giving thanks, He broke them and gave them to the disciples, and the disciples to the crowds.
15:37眾人都吃，並且吃飽了。他們拾起剩下的零碎，裝滿了七筐子。
And they all ate and were satisfied. And they took up what was left over of the broken pieces, seven baskets full.
15:38吃的人，除了婦女孩子，共有四千。
And those who ate were four thousand men, apart from women and children.
15:39祂既解散了群眾，就上船，來到馬加丹的境界。
And after He sent the crowds away, He stepped into the boat and came to the borders of Magadan.
