| 5:1 | 耶穌站在革尼撒勒湖邊，群眾擁擠祂，要聽神的話。 And as the crowd pressed upon Him to hear the word of God, He was standing by the lake of Gennesaret. |
| 5:2 | 祂看見兩隻船停在湖邊，打魚的人卻離開船，洗網去了。 And He saw two boats lying by the lake, and the fishermen had gotten out of them and were washing the nets. |
| 5:3 | 有一隻船是西門的，耶穌就上去，請他把船撐開，稍微離岸，就坐下，從船上教訓群眾。 And He got into one of the boats, which was Simon's, and asked him to put out a little from the land. And He sat down and from the boat taught the crowds. |
| 5:4 | 祂講完了，對西門說，把船開到水深之處，下網打魚。 And when He ceased speaking, He said to Simon, Put out into the deep and let down your nets for a catch. |
| 5:5 | 西門回答說，夫子，我們整夜勞苦，並沒有打著什麼，但依從你的話，我就下網。 And Simon answered and said, Master, through the whole night we toiled and caught nothing; but based on Your word I will let down the nets. |
| 5:6 | 他們這樣作，就圈住一大群魚，網幾乎裂開。 And when they did this, they enclosed a great number of fish, and their nets began to tear apart. |
| 5:7 | 他們便招呼另一隻船上的同夥來幫助。他們就來把魚裝滿了兩隻船，甚至船要沉下去。 And they signaled to their companions in the other boat to come and assist them. And they came and filled both the boats, so that they began to sink. |
| 5:8 | 西門彼得看見，就俯伏在耶穌膝前，說，主啊，離開我，因我是個罪人。 And when Simon Peter saw this, he fell down at Jesus' knees, saying, Depart from me, for I am a sinful man, Lord. |
| 5:9 | 他和一切同在的人，都希奇這一網所打的魚。 For amazement had taken possession of him and all who were with him, because of the catch of the fish which they took; |
| 5:10 | 西門的夥伴，西庇太的兒子雅各和約翰也是這樣。耶穌對西門說，不要怕，從今以後你要得人了。 And likewise also James and John, the sons of Zebedee, who were partners with Simon. And Jesus said to Simon, Do not be afraid. From now on you will be catching men alive. |
| 5:11 | 他們把兩隻船靠了岸，就撇下一切，跟從了耶穌。 And when they had brought the boats to the land, they left all and followed Him. |
| 5:12 | 有一次，耶穌在一個城裏，看哪，有一個滿身患麻風的人看見耶穌，就麵伏於地，求祂說，主啊，你若肯，必能叫我潔淨了。 And while He was in one of the cities, behold, there was a man full of leprosy. And when he saw Jesus, he fell on his face and begged Him, saying, Lord, if You are willing, You can cleanse me. |
| 5:13 | 耶穌伸手摸他，說，我肯，你潔淨了吧。麻風就立刻離開了他。 And stretching out His hand, He touched him, saying, I am willing; be cleansed! And immediately the leprosy left him. |
| 5:14 | 耶穌囑咐他說，你不可告訴人，隻要去把身體給祭司察看，又要為你得了潔淨，照摩西所規定的，獻上禮物，對他們作證據。 And He charged him to tell no one: But go away, show yourself to the priest, and offer the gift for your cleansing, even as Moses directed, for a testimony to them. |
| 5:15 | 但關於耶穌的話越發傳揚出去，有好多群眾來在一起，要聽祂的話，也要他們的疾病得醫治。 But the word concerning Him spread abroad all the more, and great crowds came together to hear Him and to be healed from their infirmities. |
| 5:16 | 耶穌卻退到曠野去禱告。 But He Himself often withdrew in the wilderness and prayed. |
| 5:17 | 有一天耶穌正在施教，有法利賽人和律法教師也在座，他們是從加利利和猶太各鄉村並耶路撒冷來的。主的能力與耶穌同在，使祂能醫治病人。 And on one of the days He was teaching, and there were Pharisees and teachers of the law sitting there, who had come out of every village of Galilee and Judea and Jerusalem. And the power of the Lord was with Him to heal. |
| 5:18 | 看哪，人用臥榻抬著一個癱瘓的人，想要抬進去，放在耶穌麵前。 And behold, some men brought on a bed a man who was paralyzed, and they sought a way to carry him in and lay him before Him. |
| 5:19 | 因為人多，找不到辦法抬進去，就上了房頂，從瓦間把他連臥榻縋到當中，正在耶穌麵前。 And since they could not find by what way they might carry him in because of the crowd, they went up onto the housetop and let him down with the cot through the tiles into the midst, in front of Jesus. |
| 5:20 | 耶穌見他們的信心，就說，人哪，你的罪赦了。 And seeing their faith, He said, Man, your sins are forgiven you. |
| 5:21 | 經學家和法利賽人就議論說，這說僭妄話的是誰？除了神一位以外，誰能赦罪？ And the scribes and the Pharisees began to reason, saying, Who is this who speaks blasphemies? Who can forgive sins except God alone? |
| 5:22 | 耶穌深知他們所議論的，就對他們說，你們心裏為什麼議論？ But Jesus, knowing fully their reasonings, answered and said to them, Why are you reasoning in your hearts? |
| 5:23 | 說，你的罪赦了，或說，你起來行走，哪一樣更容易？ Which is easier: to say, Your sins are forgiven you, or to say, Rise and walk? |
| 5:24 | 但要叫你們知道人子在地上有赦罪的權柄─就對癱子說，我吩咐你起來，拿你的小臥榻回家去吧！ But that you may know that the Son of Man has authority on the earth to forgive sins -- He said to the one paralyzed, To you I say, Rise and take up your cot and go to your house. |
| 5:25 | 那人當著眾人麵前立刻起來，拿著所躺臥的臥榻回家去，榮耀神。 And he rose up at once before them and took up that upon which he was lying and went away to his house, glorifying God. |
| 5:26 | 眾人都驚奇，並榮耀神，且滿了敬畏，說，我們今天看見非常的事了。 And astonishment took hold of all, and they glorified God and were filled with fear, saying, We have seen extraordinary things today. |
| 5:27 | 這事以後，耶穌出去，看見一個稅吏，名叫利未，坐在稅關上，就對他說，跟從我。 And after these things He went out and beheld a tax collector named Levi sitting at the tax office, and He said to him, Follow Me. |
| 5:28 | 他就撇下一切，起來跟從了耶穌。 And leaving all, he rose up and followed Him. |
| 5:29 | 利未在自己家裏，為耶穌大擺筵席，有許多稅吏和別人，與他們一同坐席。 And Levi gave a great reception for Him in his house; and there was a great crowd of tax collectors and others who were reclining at table with them. |
| 5:30 | 法利賽人和他們的經學家就向耶穌的門徒發怨言，說，你們為什麼和稅吏並罪人一同吃喝？ And the Pharisees and their scribes murmured at His disciples, saying, Why do you eat and drink with the tax collectors and sinners? |
| 5:31 | 耶穌回答他們說，健康的人用不著醫生，有病的人才用得著； And Jesus answered and said to them, Those who are healthy have no need of a physician, but those who are ill; |
| 5:32 | 我來本不是召義人，乃是召罪人悔改。 I have not come to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance. |
| 5:33 | 他們說，約翰的門徒常常禁食祈求，法利賽人的門徒也是這樣，惟獨你的門徒又吃又喝。 And they said to Him, The disciples of John fast often and make petitions, likewise also those of the Pharisees, but Yours eat and drink. |
| 5:34 | 耶穌對他們說，新郎和伴友同在的時候，豈能叫伴友禁食？ And Jesus said to them, You cannot make the sons of the bridechamber fast while the bridegroom is with them, can you? |
| 5:35 | 但日子將到，新郎要從他們中間被取去，那些日子他們就要禁食了。 But the days will come when the bridegroom will be taken away from them; then they will fast in those days. |
| 5:36 | 耶穌又對他們講一個比喻：沒有人把新衣服撕下一塊作補丁，補在舊衣服上；不然，就把新的撕破了，並且那從新的撕下來的補丁，和舊的也不相稱。 And He also spoke a parable to them: No one tears a patch from a new garment and puts it on an old garment; otherwise, he will tear the new garment, and also the patch from the new will not match the old. |
| 5:37 | 也沒有人把新酒裝在舊皮袋裏；不然，新酒會將皮袋脹裂，酒瀉出來，皮袋也就壞了。 And no one puts new wine into old wineskins; otherwise, the new wine will burst the wineskins, and it will be poured out and the wineskins will be ruined; |
| 5:38 | 但新酒必須裝在新皮袋裏。 But new wine must be put into fresh wineskins. |
| 5:39 | 沒有人喝了陳酒，還想喝新的，他總說陳的好。 And no one who has drunk the old desires the new, for he says, The old is better. |
