路加福音-Luke 第 18 章

18:1耶穌又對他們講一個比喻，是要人常常禱告，不可灰心，說，
And He told them a parable to the end that they ought always to pray and not lose heart,
18:2某城裏有一個審判官，不懼怕神，也不尊重人。
Saying, There was a certain judge in a certain city who did not fear God and did not regard man.
18:3那城裏有個寡婦，常到他那裏，說，我有一個對頭，求你給我伸冤。
And there was a widow in that city, and she kept coming to him, saying, Avenge me of my opponent.
18:4他多時不肯，後來心裏說，我雖不懼怕神，也不尊重人，
And for a time he would not; but afterward he said within himself, Even though I do not fear God nor regard man,
18:5隻因這寡婦常常攪擾我，我就給她伸冤吧，免得她不斷來纏磨我。
Yet because this widow causes me trouble, I will avenge her, lest by continually coming she wear me out.
18:6主說，你們聽這不義的審判官所說的。
And the Lord said, Hear what the unrighteous judge says.
18:7神的選民晝夜呼籲祂，祂縱然為他們忍耐著，豈不終久給他們伸冤麼？
And will not God by all means carry out the avenging of His chosen ones, who cry to Him day and night, though He is long-suffering over them?
18:8我告訴你們，祂要快快的給他們伸冤了。然而，人子來的時候，在地上找得到信心麼？
I tell you that He will carry out their avenging quickly. Nevertheless, when the Son of Man comes, will He find faith on the earth?
18:9耶穌也向那些仗著自己是義人，藐視別人的，說了這個比喻：
And He told this parable also to certain ones who trusted in themselves that they were righteous and despised the rest:
18:10有兩個人上殿裏去禱告，一個是法利賽人，另一個是稅吏。
Two men went up to the temple to pray, the one a Pharisee and the other a tax collector.
18:11法利賽人站著，自言自語的禱告說，神啊，我感謝你，我不像別人，勒索、不義、奸淫，也不像這個稅吏。
The Pharisee stood and prayed these things to himself: God, I thank You that I am not like the rest of men -- extortioners, unjust, adulterers, or even like this tax collector.
18:12我一周禁食兩次，凡我所得的，都獻上十分之一。
I fast twice a week; I give a tenth of all that I get.
18:13那稅吏卻遠遠的站著，連舉目望天也不敢，隻捶著胸說，神啊，寬恕我這個罪人！
But the tax collector, standing at a distance, would not even lift up his eyes to heaven, but beat his breast, saying, God, be propitiated to me, the sinner!
18:14我告訴你們，這人回家去，得稱為義，那人卻不然。因為凡高抬自己的，必降為卑；降卑自己的，必升為高。
I tell you, This man went down to his house justified rather than that one; for everyone who exalts himself shall be humbled, but he who humbles himself shall be exalted.
18:15有人把嬰孩也帶到耶穌那裏，要祂摸他們，門徒看見，就責備那些人。
And they were bringing to Him also their babies that He might touch them. But when the disciples saw this they rebuked them.
18:16耶穌卻叫他們來，說，讓小孩子到我這裏來，不要禁止他們，因為神的國正是這等人的。
But Jesus called them to Him, saying, Allow the little children to come to Me, and do not forbid them, for of such is the kingdom of God.
18:17我實在告訴你們，凡不像小孩子一樣接受神國的，絕不能進去。
Truly I say to you, Whoever does not receive the kingdom of God like a little child shall by no means enter into it.
18:18有一個官問耶穌說，良善的夫子，我該作什麼，才可以承受永遠的生命？
And a certain ruler questioned Him, saying, Good Teacher, what shall I do to inherit eternal life?
18:19耶穌對他說，你為什麼稱我是良善的？除了神一位以外，再沒有良善的。
But Jesus said to him, Why do you call Me good? No one is good except One -- God.
18:20誡命你是曉得的：“不可奸淫，不可殺人，不可偷盜，不可作假見證，當孝敬父母。”
You know the commandments: "Do not commit adultery, do not murder, do not steal, do not bear false witness, honor your father and mother.''
18:21那人說，這一切我從小都遵守了。
And he said, All these things I have kept from my youth.
18:22耶穌聽見了，就對他說，你還缺少一件：要變賣你一切所有的，分給窮人，就必有財寶在諸天之上，你還要來跟從我。
And hearing this, Jesus said to him, Still you lack one thing: all that you have, sell and distribute to the poor, and you will have treasure in the heavens; and come, follow Me.
18:23他聽見這話，就甚憂愁，因為他極其富足。
But when he heard these things, he became very sorrowful, for he was exceedingly rich.
18:24耶穌見他甚是憂愁，就說，有錢財的人要進神的國，是何等的難！
And Jesus, seeing that he became very sorrowful, said, How difficult it is for those who have riches to go into the kingdom of God.
18:25駱駝穿過針的眼，比財主進神的國還容易。
For it is easier for a camel to enter through the eye of a needle than for a rich man to enter into the kingdom of God.
18:26聽見的人說，這樣誰能得救？
And those who heard said, Then who can be saved?
18:27耶穌說，在人所不能的事，在神卻能。
But He said, The things that are impossible with men are possible with God.
18:28彼得說，看哪，我們已經撇下自己所有的，跟從了你。
And Peter said, Behold, we have left our own things and have followed You.
18:29耶穌說，我實在告訴你們，人為神的國，撇下房屋、或是妻子、弟兄、父母、兒女，
And He said to them, Truly I say to you that there is no one who has left house or wife or brothers or parents or children for the sake of the kingdom of God,
18:30沒有不在今世得許多倍，且要在來世得永遠生命的。
Who shall not by all means receive back many times as much in this time, and in the coming age, eternal life.
18:31耶穌把十二個門徒帶到一邊，對他們說，看哪，我們上耶路撒冷去，那藉著申言者所寫一切關於人子的事，都要成就。
And taking the twelve aside, He said to them, Behold we are going up to Jerusalem, and all things which have been written through the prophets regarding the Son of Man will be accomplished,
18:32祂將要被交給外邦人，受戲弄，受淩辱，受吐唾，
For He will be delivered up to the Gentiles and will be mocked and outrageously treated and spat upon;
18:33並被他們鞭打，殺害，第三日祂必複活。
And when they have scourged Him, they will kill Him; and on the third day He will rise.
18:34這些事門徒一樣也不領悟，這話對他們是隱藏的，所說的事，他們都不曉得。
And they understood none of these things, and this saying was hidden from them, and they did not know what was being said.
18:35耶穌將近耶利哥的時候，有一個瞎子坐在路旁討飯。
And as He drew near to Jericho, a certain blind man was sitting by the road, begging.
18:36他聽見群眾經過，就問是什麼事。
And hearing a crowd going by, he inquired what this might be.
18:37他們告訴他，是拿撒勒人耶穌經過。
And they told him that Jesus the Nazarene was passing by.
18:38他就喊著說，大衛的子孫耶穌，可憐我吧！
And he shouted, saying, Jesus, Son of David, have mercy on me!
18:39在前頭走的人就責備他，叫他安靜下來；他卻越發喊著：大衛的子孫，可憐我吧！
And those going before rebuked him so that he would be silent, but he cried out much more, Son of David, have mercy on me!
18:40耶穌就站住，吩咐人把他領過來，到了跟前，就問他說，
And Jesus, standing still, commanded that he be led to Him. And when he drew near, He questioned him,
18:41你要我為你作什麼？他說，主啊，我要能看見。
What do you want Me to do for you? And he said, Lord, that I may receive my sight!
18:42耶穌說，你可以看見，你的信救了你。
And Jesus said to him, Receive your sight; your faith has healed you.
18:43瞎子立刻看見了，就跟隨耶穌，榮耀神。眾百姓看見了，也都把讚美歸與神。
And instantly he received his sight and followed Him, glorifying God. And all the people, seeing it, gave praise to God.
